After gathering precious feedbacks and thoughts during the summer the Grunewald Action Partnership (or simply GAP Kirchberg) has been happily implemented into a new project: The Quartier Stuff. We are happy that the Fonds Kirchberg is willing to answer the district’s need to enjoy the area which have been confirmed during the participative process that GAP started this summer. Last Sunday we organised different activities for the whole family in the community garden. Children and adults used the vegetable gardens of the area as a starting point for playing and learning with vegetables. The whether was very good and about 30 families were coming over during the entire afternoon.
Children were very active with the 3 workshops: they have learned skills for gardening and the pedagogic activities helped them to imagine how to prepare their garden plot for the next year. Furthermore we had significant feedbacks about how to develop the community gardens in the future together with the parents.
