In 2025, hard coal represented 3.7% (105 601 Gigawatt-hour (GWh)) of the EU’s total gross electricity production, and brown coal represented 5.5% (154 186 GWh). ⚡🏭

🔹In 2024, the total coal share in electricity production went below 10% for the first time and in 2025, it decreased further to its lowest point at 9.2%.

In 2024, there were 4.5 million tertiary education graduates across the EU: female university graduates (2.6 million) outnumbered their male counterparts (1.9 million).🎓📖
