🇱🇻 September 1 is an important day in Latvia — it’s the first day of school! 📚
As is customary, 🇱🇻President Edgars Rinkēvičs shared a message for students, teachers and parents, reminding everyone that school is about more than textbooks — it’s also about making friends, listening to others, facing challenges and learning to ask for help.
He welcomed first-year students as little “space explorers” setting off on a journey to the “planet of knowledge.” 🚀
And for parents, there’s another reason to celebrate: the summer holidays are finally over — freedom at last! 😂

🇱🇻 9月1日，是拉脫維亞的重要日子——開學日！📚
每年9月1日，🇱🇻拉脫維亞總統都會循例向學生、老師及家長發表開學致詞。今年，總統林克維奇斯（Edgars Rinkēvičs）除了祝福大家新學年順利，也提醒學生：學校不只是學習課本知識，更是學習交朋友、傾聽不同意見、面對挫折，以及勇於尋求幫助的地方。
他還特別向一年級新生送上祝福，將他們比喻為踏上「知識星球」的太空探索員🚀，鼓勵孩子們勇敢探索、發現新世界。
而對家長來說——孩子開學，也意味著暑假終於正式結束……以及，家長的「假期」開始了！😂
