We all value having information at our fingertips anytime, anywhere.
Without it, we feel lost and uncertain.
But with too much of it, we also feel lost and overwhelmed.

✨ What really helps is clear, relevant information in one accessible place.
The digital space of a cultural venue is always available, flexible, and a powerful place for communication.
Used consciously, it can support autistic visitors—before they even arrive.
Because for autistic people, knowing what to expect can make the difference between feeling overwhelmed or lost and feeling prepared.
Simple tools can make a real difference:
✔️ Social stories
✔️ Virtual tours
✔️ Visual “do’s and don’ts”
✔️ Sensory information (e.g. noise, crowds)
Through the ACT Project, we support cultural institutions with autism-informed, science-based approaches—
helping them use their digital platforms more consciously to reduce uncertainty and open the door to participation.
Because when visitors know what to expect, they can decide how—and whether—they are ready to take part.

In cooperation with the Fővárosi Nagycirkusz (Capital Circus of Budapest) and with Nemzetközi Cseperedő Alapítvány, we are working hard on the preparation materials for the autism-friendly performances on June 13, 2026.

Currently, the recordings of the virtual tour, which will soon be available in the digital space, are underway, in which the general director of the Circus, Péter Fekete, and chief museologist Emese Joó, will introduce the circus building. We are grateful for the commitment and the experience ❤️

Thank you for once again being able to count on the contribution and help of our dear director Anna Korom and cinematographer Dani Kóródi, as well as Réka Szilágyi 🥰

When we enter a cultural space, we often think accessibility is about ramps, signs, or adapted services. But true accessibility goes beyond the physical environment.

✨ “A real welcome is made up of real, kind, present people. It’s not enough to make a place ‘accessible’ if there isn’t a human being who looks you in the eye and says: ‘Is everything okay?’”
This is how a father of an autistic child highlighted that accessibility is, first and foremost, about human interaction.
Within the A.C.T. Project, we work with our cultural partners to support staff in developing the skills that make this kind of welcome possible. This includes learning how to:
✔️ Communicate in a clear, non-verbal and easy-to-understand way
✔️ Recognize early signs of sensory overload
✔️ Apply calm and effective de-escalation strategies
✔️ Offer presence, attention, and reassurance when it matters most
One of the key elements of an autism-friendly or autism-ready environment is staff readiness. This means being motivated, open, and equipped with practical knowledge about neurodivergent visitors.
And importantly, this kind of transformation is low-cost — but high-impact.

🔎 Through the A.C.T. Project, we are supporting cultural venues such as:
🎪 Capital Circus of Budapest
📚 National Library of Riga
🎭 Little Theater of Cento
Because when staff are ready to truly meet people where they are, cultural spaces become not only more accessible — but more human.

Let’s unfold another leaf! 🍀
🎸 The guitar in our logo represents the cultural transformation that will take place in June 2026, with Fra Le Quinte Orchestra in Cento (Italy): a music concert!

💪 We will rethink the venue (Borselli Little Theatre) and the experience, starting from online contents accessible via website and social ‘till quiet areas and path inside the theatre, in autism-friendly way, but that will also give benefits to all the audience.
