Al-lmam al-Albani رحمه اللّٰه stated:

Strive - oh Muslim - to know your Isläm (your religion) from the Book of your Lord, and from the Sunnah of your Prophet, and don't say: "Such & such said", for indeed the truth is not known by men, rather know the truth, and you will know the men (the men are recognised via the truth they carry; the true scholars therefore are those that teach & convey from the Qur'än & Sunnah, upon the methodology of the Salaf...upon the truth)
: - قال الإمام الألباني - رحمه اللّٰه

فاحرص أيُّها المُسلم أن تَعرِفَ إسلامَكَ من كتاب ربِّكَ ، وسنة نَبيِّك ، ولا تَقل : قال فلان ، فإنَّ الحَقّ لا يُعرَفُ بالرجال ، بَل
اعرِف الحَقُّ تَعرِف الرجال
[ السلسلة الصحيحة : ١٩٣/١ ]

🔹لا سعادة إلا بالعلم النافع، قال النّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا، سَهَّلَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ» رواه الإمام مسلم (2699) عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.

*There is no true happiness except by way of knowledge*

There is no happiness except with beneficial knowledge.

The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said:

“Whoever takes the path to seek knowledge, Allaah سبحانه و تعالى will make the path to Paradise easy for him, (because of this knowledge).

It was narrated by Imam Muslim (2699) on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allaah be pleased with him.

Sulaymān al-Khawwas said:

«لَوْ عَامَلَ عَبْدٌ اللَّهَ بِحُسْنِ التَّوَكّلِ، وَصِدْقِ النِّيَّةِ لَهُ بِطَاعَتِهِ؛ لَاحْتَاجَتْ إِلَيْهِ الْأَمَرَاءُ فَمَنْ دُونَهُمْ، فَكَيْفَ يَكُونُ هَذَا مُحْتَاجًا، وَمَوْئِلُهُ وَمَلْجَوُهُ إِلَى الْغَنِيّ الْحَمِيدِ؟»

"If a servant were to deal with
Allah with beautiful reliance and true sincerity in obedience to Him, then rulers and all beneath them would come to need him. So how could such a man be in need of any person—when his refuge and sanctuary is with the One who is free of all need and worthy of all praise?"

🔹«اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً،
وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ».
رواه البخاري (6389) ومسلم (2690)عنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ أَكْثَرُ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ....
والحسنة عامة يدخل فيها العافية .قال ابن كثير في تفسير هذه الآية (1/416):جَمَعَتْ هَذِهِ
الدَّعْوَةُ كُلَّ خَيْرٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَصَرَفَتْ كُلَّ شَرٍّ، فَإِنَّ الْحَسَنَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا تَشْمَلُ كُلَّ مَطْلُوبٍ دُنْيَوِيٍّ
مِنْ عَافِيَةٍ، وَدَارٍ رَحْبَةٍ، وَزَوْجَةٍ حَسَنَةٍ، وَرِزْقٍ وَاسِعٍ، وَعِلْمٍ نَافِعٍ، وَعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ، وَمَرْكَبٍ هَنِيءٍ،
وَثَنَاءٍ جَمِيلٍ إِلَى غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ مِمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ عِبَارَاتُ الْمُفَسِّرِينَ، وَلَا مُنَافَاةَ بَيْنَهَا،
فَإِنَّهَا كُلَّهَا مُنْدَرِجَةٌ فِي الْحَسَنَةِ فِي الدُّنْيَا .اهـ.

“Rabbanā ātinā fid-dunyā ḥasanah
wa fi ‘l-ākhirati ḥasanah
wa qinā `adhāban-nār”

Narrated by Anasرضي الله عنهsaid :
The most frequent invocation of The Prophet (ﷺ) was: "O Allah! Give to us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire."

Goodness is general, and wellness is part of it. Ibn Katheer said in the interpretation of this verse (1/416): “This supplication gathers all the best in this world and is also protection from every evil. That is becaues it includes all good in this world and all it’s demands from well -being, welcoming house, a good wife, a wide livelihood, beneficial knowledge, righteous deeds, a comfortable automobile, a beautiful reputation and many other interpretations which don’t have contradiction between them that also define goodness in this world.

🔻🔻من أسباب دفع الهم والحزن والغم

🔹 أن يكون الإنسان ابن يومه فهذا مفرِحٌ للقلب، ترك الانشغال
بالماضي والمستقبل، وصرف الهمَّة لليوم الحاضر الذي هو فيه.
قال السعدي في «الوسائل المفيدة للحياة السعيدة» (18):
ومما يدفع به الهم والقلق: اجتماع الفكر كله على الاهتمام بعمل اليوم الحاضر، وقطعه عن الاهتمام في الوقت المستقبل، وعن الحزن على الوقت الماضي؛ ولهذا استعاذ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم من الهم والحزن، فالحزن على الأمور الماضية التي لا يمكن ردها ولا استدراكها، والهم الذي يحدث بسبب الخوف من المستقبل، فيكون العبد ابن يومه، يجمع جدَّه واجتهاده في إصلاح يومه ووقته الحاضر؛ فإن جمع القلب على ذلك يوجب تكميل الأعمال، ويتسلى به العبد عن الهم والحزن.

🔻🔻‎From the causes of repelling worry, sorrow and grief is that a person be the son of his day; for this is joyful to the heart— leaving off preoccupation with the past and the future, and directing concern to the present day in which he is.

Al-Saʿdee said in al-Wasaa’il al-Mufeedah lil-Hayaah al-Saʿeedah (p. 18): “And from what worry and anxiety are repelled by: is the gathering of the whole thought upon caring about the work of the present day, and cutting it off from caring about the future time, and from sorrow over the past time. And for this, the Prophet ﷺ sought refuge from worry and sorrow. For the sorrow [is] over past matters which cannot be returned nor compensated, and the worry which occurs due to fear of the future. Thus the servant is the son of his day, gathering his seriousness and striving in reforming his day and his present time; for indeed gathering the heart upon that necessitates the completion of deeds, and by that the servant is consoled from worry and sorrow.”

[Learn Arabic to Resemble the Salaf & Strengthen Your Mind, Religion, & Character]

🎯Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728 AH رحمه الله) advised:

«وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ اعْتِيَادَ اللُّغَةِ يُؤَثِّرُ فِي الْعَقْلِ، وَالْخُلُقِ، وَالدِّينِ تَأْثِيرًا قَوِيًّا بَيِّنًا، وَيُؤَثِّرُ أَيْضًا فِي مُشَابَهَةِ صَدْرِ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ وَالتَّابِعِينَ، وَمُشَابَهَتُهُمْ ‌تَزِيدُ ‌الْعَقْلَ وَالدِّينَ وَالْخُلُقَ.»

“Know that the habitual use of a language has a powerful and manifest effect on the mind, the character, and the religion. It also influences one’s resemblance to the first generation of this Ummah—the Ṣaḥābah and the Tābi’īn; and resemblance to them increases one in intellect, religion, and character.”
