The European Digital Identity is set to reshape how citizens access services, interact with governments, and manage their data across borders.

AT , together with the architects of Europe’s digital identity ecosystem, we will explore what this transformation means for Europe, as well as how Moldova is already aligning through its digital public infrastructure and interoperable services.

We are thrilled to welcome Florent Tournois, Director for Identity at Agence nationale des titres sécurisés - ANTS, Head of the France Identité program and Coordinator of the European consortiums POTENTIAL, APTITUDE and Pact (EUDI Wallet).

With over 20 years of experience, Florent works at the intersection of identity, trust, and digital government, contributing to the development of secure, sovereign, and citizen-centric public services across Europe.

He leads France’s national digital identity wallet, ensuring seamless integration between physical credentials and their digital counterparts while safeguarding personal data and trust.

At the European level, he coordinates major consortiums such as and , playing a key role in shaping the implementation of the EUDI Wallet under the eIDAS framework – where, as he emphasizes, “cooperation is the key” to enabling cross-border digital identity.

Through initiatives like Aptitude, he works with partners across Europe to test real-life use cases such as travel, payments, and access to digital services, contributing to a future where digital identity is secure, interoperable, and truly cross-border.
