Water Supply and Sanitation Projects Implementation Unit (WSSPIU) was established through Government Decision no. 986 as of August 11, 2003 (and subsequent amendments) – “on the creation of water supply and sanitation projects implementation unit”, financed from the World Bank allocated sources according to the Development Credit Agreement, in order to manage and monitor the process of water supply and sanitation projects implementation.
