Ho anay, isan’andro dia Andro Iraisam-pirenena Ho An’ny Zavamanan’aina (Biodiversité), satria tena zava-dehibe ny harena voajanahary. I Royaume-Uni dia manohana hetsika iraisam-pirenena mikendry ny hiaro farafahakeliny 30 %-n’ny tany sy ny ranomasina maneran-tany hatramin’ny taona 2030 ary hitahiry ny lova voajanahary eto an-tany.

Eto , 0,4 %-n’ny velaran-tany maneran-tany dia ahitana manodidina ny 5 %-n’ny harena voajanahary (biodiversité) eran-tany, ary 90 %-n’ireo karazana zavamanan’aina eto dia tsy hita na aiza na aiza afa-tsy eto ihany. Izany no mahatonga an’i Madagasikara ho iray amin’ireo toerana manan-danja indrindra sy manankarena amin’ny biodiversité eran-tany.

I Royaume-Uni dia miara-miasa amin’ireo mpiara-miombon’antoka iraisam-pirenena, fikambanana eo an-toerana ary mpitarika fiarahamonina eto Madagasikara amin’ny alalan’ny tetikasa maherin’ny 40 manerana ny firenena, mba:
• hanohana ny fiarovana ny tontolo iainana sy ny fivelomana maharitra
•hiaro ny tontolo voajanahary sy ny fiarovana ara-tsakafo

Amin’ny fiaraha-miasa, ireo ezaka ireo dia manampy ny fiarahamonina hanamafy ny faharetany manoloana ny fiovan’ny toetr’andro ary hanangana ho avy maharitra kokoa ho an’i Madagasikara sy ho an’ny planeta.

In , 0.4% of the world’s landmass is home to around 5% of global biodiversity, and 90% of its species exist nowhere else on Earth. This makes it one of the richest biodiversity hotspots in the world.

The UK is working with international partners, local organisations and community leaders in Madagascar on over 40 projects across the country to:
• support conservation and sustainable livelihoods
