On 9 March 2023, the USAG-KA Department of Emergency Services (DES) which is made of Department of the Army Civilian Police (DACP) Fire Department, and Chenega Security welcomed the USAG-KA Homeschool Community. We had the pleasure of introducing some of our staff to the kids and parents. They also had the opportunity to see what DES personnel do and a day to day basis and they also had the opportunity to see and try on some of our safety equipment. Thank you to the homeschoolers and parents for braving the Kwaj rain and making this event a success. Also, special thank you to Laura Ladd and Erica Horton for the great pictures.

Here is SGT Rondone and wife Chantal reading to the Bako Child Developement Center Pre-K and Pre-School students. They also facilitated a coloring contest, made the students honorary Officers for the day and had an all around great time. Outstanding work to the Rondone's.
