Blerim Bexheti was born on October 16, 1976, in the village of Gllumovo, in the municipality of Saraj. In addition to the Albanian language, he speaks Macedonian, Croatian and
Czech. He is married and the father of four children. In the period 2002-2005, he was a senior associate at the Ministry of Justice, while from 2005-
In 2006, he opened an office for lawyers. In 2006, he was elected as a Mem
ber of Parliament in the Republic of North Macedonia and was a member of
The Legislative-juridical Committee as well as the Committee for supervision in the work of the Directorate for security and
counterintelligence and the Intelligence Agency. Again in 2008, he was elected as a deputy in the Assembly
Republic of Vriu Macedonia and was the chairman of the local self-government commission. He was also the deputy chairman of the RMV Assembly Delegation in the Committee
Parliamentary member for stabilization and association and deputy member of the Commission for European affairs. IN
In the local elections in 2009, he was elected mayor of the municipality of Saraj, when he also became a member
of the Management Board of ZEVL. In 2011, he was appointed Minister of Justice in the Government of
Republic of North Macedonia. He performed this function until 2014. In the local elections in 2017, he became mayor of the municipality of Saraji for the second time. Also
in 2021 he is elected mayor of the Municipality of Saraj for the term 2021-2025.
