🎬 Are you a mid-career filmmaker from North Macedonia? This opportunity is for you.

Apply for Global Media Makers, a mid-career filmmaker residency to develop your work, expand your professional network, and connect with fellow filmmakers and industry professionals.

Applicants must be:

• Citizens or permanent residents of North Macedonia

• Mid-career filmmakers with 1–3 produced projects as a writer, producer, or director in film, TV, or serial web content

• Professionals working in a related field, such as film festivals or industry market platforms

• Proficient in English

• Able to commit to the full residency, including both the virtual and in-person portions

📩 To apply, send the U.S. Embassy your name and email address, with the subject line "GMM Residency," no later than September 1 to [email protected]

For nominees working in related fields, include a brief note on their role and a link to a program they've designed or curated or other evidence of their active work in the field.

Selected nominees will be contacted by Global Media Makers with instructions and an online application form. The finalists and the alternates will be announced on Friday, November 6th .

Acting Deputy Chief of Mission Zachary Harrison joined Minister of Internal Affairs Panche Toshkovski at the Police Academy in Idrizovo to mark the promotion of the 2025/26 class.
