About KNDCC
Karen National Dialogue Convening Committee (KNDCC)
On the 21 November 2016 at Lay Kay Kaw, the 3 Karen Ethnic Armed Organisations (KEAO’s), KNU, KNU/KNLA-PC, DKBA formed an alliance the Karen National Dialogue Convening Committee (KNDCC) in order to support and implement Karen National Dialogue meetings in different regions based on the ethnicity.
The KNDCC then formed a steering committee, convening committee, sub-committee for each sectors and administration team to carry out the KNDCC’s responsibilities. Within the Committee, members include representatives from political parties, KCSOs, Karen Unity & Peace Committee (KUPC), Women and Technical Teams. The aim of the Committee is inclusive participation and Karen Unity of all Karen people across the country in the Peace Process.
