Join our team at NMB as Assistant Vice President - Strategy!

Are you experienced in strategic planning, business development, technology commercialisation and industry collaboration? NMB is looking for a strategic and analytical professional to lead the development and implementation of strategies across NMB and its subsidiaries, with a focus on nanotechnology and the hydrogen ecosystem.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic positioning, investment opportunities, policy development, technology commercialisation and industry partnerships, while supporting key initiatives related to hydrogen technologies, alternative hydrogen carriers and emerging commercial opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:
✓ Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Science, Technology or a related field
✓ Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strategic Management, Economics, Finance, Science or Engineering is preferred
✓ 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience in strategic planning, business development or industry-related roles
✓ Strong research, analytical and strategic planning capabilities
✓ Experience in developing strategic roadmaps, reports, white papers and presentations
✓ Ability to assess market trends, commercial opportunities, project performance and investment potential

Preferred Skills:
✓ Proficient in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
✓ Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
✓ Excellent research, analytical and report-writing skills
✓ Able to work effectively across internal divisions and external organisations
✓ Knowledge or experience in hydrogen technology, alternative hydrogen carriers, nanotechnology or technology commercialisation is an advantage
✓ Experience or knowledge in battery-related technologies is also an advantage

NMB (NanoMalaysia Berhad) and The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the ENGINEER & MARVEX 2026 Exhibition, marking a strategic partnership to strengthen collaboration between Malaysia’s engineering profession and technology commercialisation ecosystem.

The collaboration brings together IEM’s engineering expertise and professional network with NMB’s experience in technology commercialisation and industrial development. Through the partnership, both organisations will explore joint initiatives in research, consultancy, technology deployment, standards development, professional competency, industry engagement, knowledge sharing and talent development.

The three-year MoU is expected to support greater knowledge transfer, workforce development, technology adoption and collaboration across industry, academia, government and professional communities.

Together, NMB and IEM aim to strengthen Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem and accelerate the adoption and commercialisation of strategic technologies.

NMB (NanoMalaysia Berhad) hari ini telah mengadakan kunjungan ke kediaman keluarga Allahyarham Hamzah bin Hamidon, bekas Pegawai Kanan Teknologi Maklumat (Kumpulan Operasi), bagi menyampaikan cek pampasan insurans kepada keluarga beliau.

Kunjungan tersebut diketuai oleh Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif NMB, Prof. Adj. Dr Rezal Khairi Ahmad, bersama barisan pengurusan NMB yang terdiri daripada Encik Mohamad Hafiz Zolkipli, (Ketua Pegawai Operasi), Encik Raja Riznal Raja Abidin (Naib Presiden Kanan, Hal Ehwal Korporat Kumpulan), Puan Veronica Leong Mun Sum (Naib Presiden Kanan, Operasi Kumpulan), Encik Mohd Iswarizan Mohd Iskak (Naib Presiden, Sumber Manusia Kumpulan) serta Puan Shahanim Iza Shaari (Pegawai Kanan, Sumber Manusia Kumpulan), Encik Ahmad Nabil Mohd Khisam (Pegawai Kanan, Kewangan Kumpulan) dan Encik Muhammad Nasiff Hashardi (Pegawai Kanan, Operasi Kumpulan).

Kunjungan ini bukan sahaja merupakan penyempurnaan urusan berkaitan perlindungan insurans Allahyarham, malah menjadi tanda ingatan, penghargaan dan keprihatinan NMB terhadap jasa beliau serta kebajikan keluarga yang ditinggalkan.
