Supporting LGBTQIA+ Youth on Wear It Purple Day 💜

LGBTQIA+ လူငယ်တွေကြုံတွေ့ရတဲ့ အနိုင်ကျင့်ခံရမှု၊ ခွဲခြားဆက်ဆံခံရမှု၊ ဖယ်ကျဉ်ခံရမှုတွေကိုတုံ့ပြန်ဆောင်ရွက်ဖို့အတွက် သြစတြေးလျမှာ Wear It Purple Day လှုပ်ရှားမှုကို ၂၀၁၀ ခုနှစ်ကစပြီး လုပ်ဆောင်လာခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။

သြစတြေးလျသံရုံးအနေနဲ့ သြဂုတ်လတိုင်းရဲ့နောက်ဆုံးသောကြာနေ့မှာခရမ်းရောင်ဝတ်ဆင်ပြီး LGBTQIA+ လူငယ်တွေမိမိကိုယ်ကိုဂုဏ်ယူနိုင်ဖို့ရည်ရွယ်တဲ့ဒီနှစ်စဥ်ဆင်နွှဲမှုမှာ ပါဝင်ရတာဂုဏ်ယူပါတယ်။

ဒီနေ့အပါအဝင် နေ့စဉ်နေ့တိုင်းမှာ မြန်မာ LGBTQIA+ အသိုက်အဝန်း၊ အထူးသဖြင့် ၄င်းတို့ရဲ့သတ္တိနဲ့ကြံ့ခိုင်မှုတို့ကြောင့်အတုယူစရာကောင်းတဲ့လူငယ်တွေနဲ့အတူ မိမိတို့ရပ်တည်ပါတယ်။

The ‘Wear It Purple Day’ movement in Australia began in 2010 in response to the bullying, discrimination and exclusion faced by LGBTQIA+ young people.

The Australian Embassy is proud to wear it purple on the last Friday of every August, as an annual celebration for LGBTQIA+ young people to be proud of who they are.

Today, and every day, we stand with the Myanmar LGBTQIA+ community, especially young people whose courage and resilience continue to inspire positive change.

ကမ္ဘာ့လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုနေ့မှာ အကျပ်အတည်းကြားကသူတွေကိုကူညီဖို့အတွက်စွန့်စားဆောင်ရွက်နေကြတဲ့ ကမ္ဘာတစ်လွှားရှိ လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာဝန်ထမ်းတွေကို မိမိတို့လေးစားဂုဏ်ပြုပါတယ်။

လူသားတွေရဲ့ကိုယ်စိတ်ကျန်းမာရေး၊ ဂုဏ်သိက္ခာနဲ့ ရပ်တည်ရှင်သန်မှုက လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာအကူအညီတွေဆောင်ရွက်မှုများအပေါ် များစွာမူတည်လျက်ရှိပါတယ်။

ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့နှစ်က ကမ္ဘာတစ်ဝန်းမှာ အကူအညီပေးရေးဝန်ထမ်း ၃၅၀ ဦးဟာ အသက်ကယ်အကူအညီတွေကို အလိုအပ်ဆုံးသူများထံပေးအပ်ပို့‌ဆောင်ရင်း အသက်ဆုံးရှုံးခဲ့ရပါတယ်။

On World Humanitarian Day, we honour humanitarian workers around the world who risk everything to help people in crisis.

Humanity depends on humanitarian action.

Last year, 350 aid workers were killed around the world while delivering life-saving assistance to those who need it most.

Celebrating Friendship Through Global Connections

သြစတြေးလျသံရုံးအနေနဲ့ သြစတြေးလျပညာသင်ဆုရှင်ဟောင်းတွေနဲ့ UK နဲ့ US ပညာသင်ဆုအစီအစဥ်တွေမှ ပညာသင်ဆုရှင်ဟောင်းတွေကို ရန်ကုန်ရှိ Australian Club မှာ တွေ့ဆုံဧည့်ခံရတာ ဝမ်းသာမိပါတယ်။

International Day of Friendship အထိမ်းအမှတ်အဖြစ် သြစတြေးလျပညာသင်ဆု၊ ချီးဗနင်းပညာသင်ဆုနဲ့ အမေရိကန်အစိုးရရဲ့နှီးနှောဖလှယ်ရေးအစီအစဥ်တွေမှ ကျောင်းသူကျောင်းသားဟောင်းတွေဟာ အတွေးအမြင်တွေဖလှယ်ရင်း၊ မိတ်ဖွဲ့ကြရင်း နောင်လာမယ့်ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုတွေအတွက်ဆွေးနွေးကာ networking session တွေမှာပါဝင်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။

ပညာရေးရဲ့ရေရှည်တည်တံ့သောတန်ဖိုးနဲ့ ပညာသင်ယူပြီးပြန်လည်ရောက်ရှိလာချိန်မှာတောင်ဆက်လက်တည်ရှိနေဆဲခင်မင်ရင်းနှီးချိတ်ဆက်မှုတွေကိုမီးမောင်းထိုးပြရာမှာ မိမိတို့နဲ့အတူပါဝင်ခဲ့ကြသူအားလုံးကို ကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်။

The Australian Embassy was pleased to host our Australia Awards Scholarship alumni, alongside alumni from the UK and US scholarship programs, at the Australian Club in Yangon.

On the occasion of ‘International Day of Friendship’, alumni across the Australia Awards, Chevening and US Government exchange programs participated in interactive networking sessions, fostering ideas exchange and friendship for future collaboration.

ဒီအပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာလူငယ်များနေ့မှာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတစ်ဝှမ်းကလူငယ်တွေရဲ့ ကြံ့ခိုင်မှု၊ ဇွဲနဲ့ စွမ်းဆောင်ရည်တို့ကို မိမိတို့ဆင်နွှဲပါတယ်။

ပဋိပက္ခ၊ ‌ရွှေ့ပြောင်းနေထိုင်ရမှုနဲ့ စီးပွားရေးအခက်အခဲတို့ကြောင့် ပညာရေးဆီလက်လှမ်းမီဖို့ရာစိန်ခေါ်မှုတွေရှိနေပေမယ့်လည်း သူတို့ဟာ ဆက်လက်သင်ယူနေကြပြီး မိမိတို့မိသားစုနဲ့အသိုက်အဝန်းတွေမှာ ပါဝင်အကျိုးပြုနေကြဆဲပါ။

Celebrating leaders who are creating opportunities for all

University of Queensland မှပို့ချတဲ့ Inclusive Education သင်တန်းတိုမှာတက်ရောက်ပါဝင်ပြီးတဲ့နောက် ဖြိုးစန္ဒာဟာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ အားလုံးအကျုံးဝင်တဲ့စာကြည့်တိုက်အလေ့အထတွေကနေတစ်ဆင့် ပညာရေးဆီတန်းတူလက်လှမ်းမီကြစေဖို့ မြှုပ်နှံလုပ်ဆောင်နေတဲ့အကြောင်း မိမိတို့ဂုဏ်ယူစွာမျှဝေပါတယ်။

Following her participation in the Australia Awards Short Course on Inclusive Education, delivered by the University of Queensland, we are proud to highlight Phyo Sandar who is dedicating her career to equitable access to education through inclusive library practices in Myanmar.

Reflecting on her experience, she shared:

"Education is not a privilege meant only for a few; it is an inherent birthright of every single child. Our libraries, which stand as pillars of educational support, must also practice genuine inclusion so that everyone can participate. Let us all join hands to shape a future of equitable opportunities for all.

The course showed me that achieving inclusion requires building networks and working together rather than in isolation. Learning from the professors’ experiences gave me practical ideas that I could adapt and apply in my own workplace.”

Through her work and dedication, we are thankful to Phyo Sandar who helping create more inclusive learning spaces where everyone belongs and has the opportunity to thrive.

Shortlisting for Australia Awards Scholarships Intake 2027 is now complete

သြစတြေးလျသံရုံးအနေနဲ့ ၂၀၂၇ စာသင်နှစ်အတွက်ပညာသင်ဆုများကို ဆန်ကာတင်ရွေးချယ်မှုပြီးဆုံးပြီး ရွေးချယ်ခံရသူများကိုလည်းအကြောင်းကြားပြီးပြီဖြစ်ကြောင်း အသိပေးပါတယ်။ လျှောက်ထားခဲ့သူအားလုံးကို ကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်။

လျှောက်လွှာတွေအားလုံးမှာတွေ့ရှိရတဲ့ အရည်အချင်း၊ စိတ်အားထက်သန်မှုနဲ့ ဦးဆောင်မှုအလားအလာတွေကြောင့် မိမိတို့လေးစားအထင်ကြီးမိပါတယ်။

Australia Awards Myanmar scholars preparing for the future

သြစတြေးလျပညာသင်ဆုအစီအစဥ်အနေနဲ့ စာသင်သားတွေကို အနာဂတ်အတွက်ပြင်ဆင်ပေးရတာ ဝမ်းသာဂုဏ်ယူမိပါတယ်။

မကြာသေးမီက Futures Thinking အလုပ်ရုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲကို Australian National University National Security College ရဲ့အစိတ်အပိုင်းဖြစ်တဲ့ Futures Hub မှာပြုလုပ်ဖို့အတွက် မိမိတို့ပံ့ပိုးပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။

Southeast Asia GBV Prevention Platform ဆိုတာ အရှေ့တောင်အာရှဒေသမှာ ကျား-မ အခြေပြုအကြမ်းဖက်မှုကိုတားဆီးဖို့အတွက် ဒေသခံတွေဦးဆောင်ပြီးကြိုးပမ်းနေတာတွေကို ပိုမိုအားကောင်းလာစေဖို့ရည်ရွယ်ထားတဲ့ သြစတြေးလျအစိုးရရဲ့အစီအစဥ်တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီ Platform ကနေပြီး အရှေ့တောင်အာရှတစ်လွှား ကျား-မ အခြေပြုအကြမ်းဖက်မှုကိုတားဆီးဖို့ဒေသခံတွေဦးဆောင်ပြီးကြိုးပမ်းနေတာတွေကို ကူညီပံ့ပိုးဖို့အတွက် Demonstrate Grants တွေ ခေါ်ယူနေပါတယ်။ ဒီ grants တွေဟာ ကျား-မ အခြေပြုအကြမ်းဖက်မှုကိုတားဆီးဖို့လုပ်ဆောင်နေတာတွေကို မှတ်တမ်းတင်၊ မျှဝေဖို့အတွက် အမျိုးသမီးအခွင့်အရေးအဖွဲ့အစည်းတွေနဲ့ အရပ်ဘက်လူမှုအဖွဲ့အစည်းတွေကို ပေးအပ်ပံ့ပိုးမှာပါ။

သြဂုတ်လ ၂၃ ရက်မှာ လျှောက်လွှာများပိတ်ပါမယ်။ ဘယ်လိုလျှောက်ထားရမလဲအပါအဝင် အသေးစိတ်အကြောင်းအရာတွေကို အောက်မှာဖော်ပြထားပါတယ်။

The Southeast Asia GBV Prevention Platform is an Australian Government initiative that aims to strengthen locally led efforts to prevent gender-based violence in the Southeast Asia region.

The Platform has launched a round of Demonstrate Grants, supporting locally led efforts to prevent gender-based violence across Southeast Asia. These grants will fund women’s rights organisations and civil society organisations to generate, document, and share evidence of what works to prevent gender-based violence, because some of the region’s most valuable prevention knowledge comes from organisations doing the work.
