Our Student Orientation & Scholarship Clinic successfully welcomed new and returning students, providing them with valuable information about campus life, academic expectations, student services, and the resources available to support their success.

During the Scholarship Clinic, participants received guidance on scholarship opportunities, eligibility requirements, and the application process, helping them better understand the financial assistance available for their educational journey.

We are grateful to share that NMTech's Lower Base campus did not experience flooding during the passage of Super Typhoon Bavi. While minor cleanup and inspections will continue, we are thankful that our campus sustained minimal impacts.

To allow our employees time to recover and secure their homes following the storm, NMTech offices will remain closed on Wednesday, July 8, and Thursday, July 9, 2026.

As previously announced, NMTech is currently operating under a temporary 64-hour biweekly work schedule, with Fridays designated as non-working days until further notice as part of the institution's austerity measures.

Additionally, our Spring Course continuation, Summer Tech, and Fall Registration will resume on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Thank you for your patience, resilience, and continued support. The safety of our students, employees, and community remains our highest priority.

In anticipation of Typhoon Bavi and its hazardous weather conditions, all Summer 2026 course continuations and operations are cancelled effective Monday, July 6, and Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

Following the storm’s passage, Tuesday, July 7 will be dedicated to comprehensive campus damage assessments, safety inspections, and evaluation of instructional spaces and campus infrastructure. These assessments are necessary to ensure that all facilities are safe and suitable for student occupancy before instructional activities resume.

Additionally, all Summer Tech Sessions will be placed on hold pending completion of the campus assessment. A revised schedule for Summer Tech programming will be announced once the campus has been deemed safe for students and instructors.

Further updates regarding campus operations, Spring course continuation, and Summer Tech programming will be issued following the completion of the July 7 campus assessment.
