Friends of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library We are the Friends of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library. Our office is located in the heart of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library.

Promote the continued existence and effectiveness of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library to the community; to promote the JKPL as a vital informational, cultural, educational, and recreational asset to the CNMI;and to raise funds for JKPL library programs/svc. Our objectives are to promote and support the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library as a valuable asset for the CNMI; enhance the facilities, services, and resources of the JKPL; access non-government funding sources; and support the freedom to read and free access to information for all.

🎄✨ 1st Annual Light Up My Library: An Island Community Celebration! ✨🎄

The Friends of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, and our community partners proudly invite you to celebrate the library’s 34th Anniversary with a magical holiday event!

📅 Saturdays, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
November 29, 2025; December 6, 13 & 20, 2025; January 3 & 10, 2026 (excluding December 27, 2025)

Join us for:
✨ Illuminated story corners & themed displays
✨ Family activities & creative programs
✨ Local vendors & community fun
✨ Book sales

The JKPL parking lot will be transformed into a festive literary winter wonderland—perfect for families, children, and residents of all ages!
