And today was H.O.G. Dapper Day.

Yes, we’re H.O.G.s. We love the brotherhood, we proudly ride shiny, loud Harleys, and most days our black vests are basically our second skin. But today was DGR day… and man, did we make a statement.

We met at 7:30am at Kettles. A quick sleepy coffee, a short briefing, a few completely necessary vanity moments, and off we rode to Mellieħa Square.

Nice easy ride, perfect weather, and Mellieħa Square was waiting for us. We arrived and pretty much took over the show. Not only did we have the coolest bikes there, but we were definitely the coolest bikers too. But honestly… would anyone expect anything less?

And yes, it turns out we clean up pretty well in dapper mode too.

Quick drink, registration done, and then off again for the ride ending at Mercury Towers.

Another fantastic morning together. We looked good, the bikes looked even better, and most importantly, it felt good too.

Now all eyes are on the next adventure — the Gozo Sunset Ride.

Bring it on! 🤘

The Road Safety Awareness event, focusing on safe and effective group riding techniques and practices, took place on Saturday, 23rd May. A cool bunch of Members and Officers attended an excellent presentation delivered by our Director Jean, Assistant Director Silvio, Safety Officer Sandro, and Sergio.

During the event, held in 1902’s upstairs conference room in Pembroke, members enjoyed a superb visual presentation covering the main highlights and best practices for riding in staggered and single-file formations, as well as the steps required to safely overtake traffic as a group. Many “what if” scenarios were also discussed with the aim of further enhancing members’ overall road safety awareness and knowledge.

Following the presentation and Q&A session, members headed out on the road in two groups to put these newly learned principles into practice during an organised and monitored ride.

Upon returning, Jean delivered a casual yet highly informative debriefing, highlighting various dos and don’ts that were observed and corrected to ensure a safer group riding experience—both on our local roads and especially when travelling abroad.

To conclude this worthwhile safety event, members sat down to enjoy a great lunch at the 1902 restaurant. As always, great friends shared their passion for motorcycles, friendship, and merriment together.

This was truly an amazing and educational day!

A strong riding formation does not happen by chance.

It comes from discipline, communication, organisation, and riders who understand how to move together safely as one group.

Following the recent merger this Saturday, we’re organising a Unified Ride Safety Day focused on building that standard together.

The day will include:

-Group riding standards
-Hazard awareness
-Emergency and breakdown procedures
-Structured group ride sessions

After the sessions, we’ll finish the day with lunch together.

Attendance is highly encouraged for all members as we continue building one strong and united riding culture.

What an incredible weekend in Sicily!

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who participated and helped make this ride such a memorable experience.

A special thank you goes to Stretto di Messina Chapter Italy for setting up such a memorable weekend for all.

We would also like to thank our Harley-Davidson Catania for giving us this opportunity and for continuously supporting the spirit that brings us together.

More importantly, thank you to our brothers and sisters from the Etna Chapter Italy #7292, Palermo Chapter Italy #9274 and Licata Chapter #6612 who made this weekend even more special.

It was especially great to see how the group grew stronger from the first day to the last — riding together with more confidence and discipline on the road.

Most importantly, everyone returned home safely, and that is always the greatest success of any ride.

Until the next adventure…

What an amazing evening yesterday!

We had one group in Messina taking part in the Cugini Run, while another group was in Sambiodorio enjoying the Bike Fest.

Big thank you goes to Stretto di Messina Chapter Italy for hosting us.

A boring weekend with nothing planned. Right? Or so we thought…

Saturday started with the usual meet-up at WKD. While Adrian was hard at work improving the shop displays, the rest of us were equally busy drinking coffee and offering plenty of “expert” advice from a safe distance. Teamwork at its finest — and yes, we kept it professional!

By afternoon, a bunch of us fired up the bikes and headed south. We stopped at Zion for a drink (or two), a few nibbles, and the usual dose of laughter that somehow gets louder as the day goes on.

Sunday wasn’t much different. Pure coincidence of course, but somehow we all ended up at Kettles at the same time again.

More coffee, more banter, and plenty of laughs before heading off on a northbound ride towards Ghajn Tuffieha. Absolutely amazing ride, with great roads, great company, and not a single person admitting they missed a turn.

We stopped at Apple’s Eye, which was packed, but that didn’t stop us from squeezing in a couple of drinks before most called it an early day — Mother’s Day duties were waiting at home for many of us!

So yes… another completely uneventful weekend with the Malta Chapter. Just bikes, friends, laughter, food, drinks, and memories made along the way. Standard stuff really.
