🇲🇹 Il-pulizija arrestat raġel b’rabta ma’ omiċidju u feriment ta’ żewġ persuni fl-Imqabba.

Għall-ħabta ta’ 1445hrs, il-pulizija ġiet infurmata li kien hemm argument familjari, ġewwa residenza, fejn malli waslu fuq il-post, il-pulizija sabu raġel ta’ 74 sena bi ġrieħi serji, ikkawżati minn arma li taqta’ u bil-ponta, filwaqt li fis-sular ta’ fuq sabu mara ta’ 72 sena bla ħajja u b’diversi feriti f’ġisimha.

Investigazzjoni rrizultaw li ż-żewġ persuni kienu allegatament aggrediti minn raġel ta’ 47 sena li kien ħarab minn fuq il-post. Fi ftit ħin, il-pulizija sabet l-allegat aggressur, li ġie arrestat ġewwa s-Siġġiewi wara li intervjena negozjatur imħarreġ tal-pulizija.

Il-Maġistrat Dr Renata Farrugia LL.D ġiet infurmata bil-każ u ħatret inkjesta filwaqt li l investigazzjonijiet tal-Pulizija għadhom għaddejjin.

🇬🇧 The police arrested a man in connection with a homicide and the injuring of another person in Mqabba.

At around 2:45pm, the police were informed of a family dispute at a residence. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a 74-year-old man suffering from serious injuries caused by a sharp and pointed weapon. On the upper floor of the residence, officers found a 72-year-old woman lifeless, with multiple wounds to her body.

Investigations revealed that the two victims had allegedly been attacked by a 47-year-old man who had fled the scene. Shortly afterwards, the police located the alleged aggressor, who was arrested in Siġġiewi following the intervention of a trained police negotiator.

Magistrate Dr Renata Farrugia LL.D. was informed of the case and appointed an inquiry, while Police investigations are ongoing.

🇲🇹 Investigazzjonijiet tal-pulizija wasslu għall-arrest ta’ raġel b’rabta ma’ sensiela ta’ serqiet minn vetturi pparkjati f’Tal-Pietà u l-Ħamrun.

Il-każijiet seħħew bejn it-2 u l-14 ta’ Ottubru, fejn ir-raġel allegatament wettaq total ta’ seba’ serqiet.

L-investigazzjonijiet għadhom għaddejjin, filwaqt li r-raġel mistenni jitressaq il-qorti aktar t**d illum.

🇬🇧 Police investigations led to the arrest of a man in connection with a string of thefts from parked vehicles in Tal-Pietà and Ħamrun.

The incidents occurred between 2 and 14 October, during which the man allegedly committed a total of seven thefts.

Investigations are ongoing, while the man is expected to be arraigned in court later today.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned for driving without a valid licence / insurance and making false declarations when stopped during a road check in Msida.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned over theft from shop using a stolen vehicle in Paola.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned over misappropriation of €90,000 from a woman through her bank card.

➡️ Woman arrested & arraigned for forging her landlord’s signature on a document related to her residence permit application.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned for altering his payslips to meet the financial requirements for a reunification application.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned in connection with fake passport stamps to extend his stay in Malta.

➡️ Man was sentenced to life imprisonment after a trial by jury found him guilty of the murder of man in Marsa in 2021.

🇲🇹 Investigazzjonijiet tal-Pulizija li komplew wara qabda ta’ droga ftit tax-xhur ilu wasslu biex, matul il-lejl ta’ bejn il-Ħamis u l-Ġimgħa, jiġu arrestati erba’ persuni oħra.

L-arresti saru f’residenza fl-Imsida, filwaqt li saru tfittxijiet fl-istess proprjetà, f’vettura u f’residenza oħra f’Ħal Balzan.

Matul it-tfittxijiet instabu sustanzi suspettati kokaina, kokaina roża, ecstasy, ketamine, kannabis u L*D, flimkien ma’ diversi oġġetti relatati mat-traffikar tad-droga.

Dawn ir-riżultati juru d-determinazzjoni tagħna li nkomplu niġġieldu t-traffikar tad-droga u nfixklu l-operat tan-networks kriminali involuti f’din l-attività.

Il-Pulizija ta’ Malta tibqa’ determinata u proattiva fil-ġlieda tagħha kontra t-traffikar tad-droga.

🇬🇧 Police investigations following a drug seizure a couple of months ago have led to the arrest of four more persons during the night between Thursday and Friday.

The arrests took place at a residence in Msida, while searches were carried out at the same property, in a vehicle and at another residence in Balzan.

During the searches, Police found substances suspected to be co***ne, pink co***ne, ecstasy, ketamine, cannabis and L*D, together with various items associated with drug trafficking.

These results demonstrate our continued determination to tackle drug trafficking and disrupt the criminal networks behind it.

The Malta Police Force remains resolute and proactive in its fight against drug trafficking.

🇲🇹 Investigazzjoni tal-pulizija wara inċident tat-traffiku b’mutur, li seħħ fid-29 ta’ Settembru, fejn il-pulizija kienet sabet droga differenti lesta għat-traffikar, wasslet għall-arrest tax-xufier.

Waqt l-investigazzjoni tal-inċident, il-pulizija sabu ammont konsiderevoli ta’ droga suspettata kokaina, kannabis, M**A u ketamine.

Ir-raġel mistenni jitressaq il-qorti llum, wara li ġie rilaxxat mill-isptar.

🇬🇧 Police investigations following a motorcycle traffic accident on the 29 th September, during which officers found various types of drugs prepared for trafficking, led to the arrest of the driver.

During the investigation into the accident, police discovered a considerable amount of substances suspected to be co***ne, cannabis, M**A and ketamine.

The man is expected to be arraigned in court today, following his discharge from hospital.
