Malta pparteċipat f’Locked Shields 2026. Dan huwa wieħed mill-akbar u l-aktar eżerċizzji kumplessi fid-dinja fid-difiża ċibernetika “live fire”, organizzat mill-Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE).

L-eżerċizzju ta’ din is-sena ġabar flimkien esperti minn diversi entitajiet governattivi u stakeholders nazzjonali, li ħadmu ma’ sħab internazzjonali sabiex jiddefendu sistemi kritiċi kontra theddid ċibernetiku sofistikat ħafna f’ambjent dinamiku u f’ħin reali.

Malta ngħaqdet mas-Slovenja u l-Italja u kienet irrappreżentata minn disa’ esperti tekniċi ġejjin mill-Ministeru għall-Intern, is-Sigurtà u x-Xogħol, l-MITA, il-Forzi Armati ta’ Malta, il-Korp tal-Pulizija ta’ Malta, MaltaCIP, l-Unità tal-Analiżi tal-Intelliġenza Finanzjarja (FIAU), l-Awtorità għall-Innovazzjoni Diġitali ta’ Malta (MDIA) u Bank of Valletta.

Il-parteċipazzjoni ta’ Malta għal darb’oħra turi impenn qawwi biex tissaħħaħ ir-reżiljenza ċibernetika nazzjonali, tittejjeb il-kooperazzjoni bejn l-entitajiet, u Malta tkompli tagħti kontribut attiv fl-isforzi internazzjonali għad-difiża ċibernetika.
