Help Shape Future European Cybersecurity Standards
As Malta’s prospective Market Surveillance Authority and Notifying Authority under the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), the MDIA encourages stakeholders to engage in ongoing European standardisation activities supporting the CRA.
ETSI has published 17 draft standards covering a range of important product categories under the CRA, including web browsers, password managers, antivirus software, virtual private networks (VPNs), SIEM systems, operating systems, routers and switches, smart-home products, internet-connected toys, wearables, firewalls and more.
The Public Enquiry phase provides an opportunity for organisations, researchers and cybersecurity experts to review the drafts, contribute feedback, and help shape future European standards.
Interested in getting involved?
To have your feedback formally considered, comments should be submitted through your national standardisation body or via ETSI membership; in Malta, this would be through the MCCAA
Funding opportunities may also be available to support participation in CRA-related standardisation activities.
