Government launched the eSkills Malta Foundation that will see various stakeholders working together to jointly create the skills base and life-long quality growth required for a digitally enabled knowledge economy. The eSkills Malta Foundation is a coalition of various representatives from Government, industry and education and has the following mandate:
I. to advise Government and stakeholders

on matters related to eSkills policy;
II. to contribute to the expansion of ICT educational programmes and related formative initiatives;
III. to lead an ICT professionalism development programme;
IV. to instigate further reform in the ICT educational offerings and contribute to capacity-building in the ICT education community; and
V. to champion campaigns and promote the Maltese eSkills potential locally and internationally.
