The Shipwreck Malta

The Shipwreck Malta A new attraction presents an exciting docudrama about the shipwreck of Saint Paul and his three month stay in Malta. Leaving Crete Island.
2. Leaving to Rome.

CAK, Mymax & Extreme Effects present The Shipwreck -
an epic docudrama production that mixes scenes of real places in Malta related to Saint Paul as they are today with realistic CGI scenery and dramatized scenes with real actors and real sets. This docudrama is projected using a new technology of multiple projectors on a 13m long screen (120° viewing). As the idea is to create an experience of w

hat Saint Paul had to go through to arrive to Malta and how this had changed its history forever. The viewer is surrounded by this screen and he/she has to move his/her head left and right, to be able to follow the wide scenery. It is a new way of involving the viewer in the story so as to be part of it and not just remaining a passive viewer. The Shipwreck is 35 minutes long, and discuss mainly:
1. The storm and all the events on the ship.
3. The shipwreck in Maltese sea.
4. Maltese people welcoming Saint Paul.
5. The fire and the snake’s bite.
6. Paul at Publius’ house.
7. Healing Publius’ father.
8. Paul staying 3 months in Malta preaching and healing.
9. A docudrama is documentary-style genre that features dramatized re-enactments of actual historical events. A docudrama may be filmed or written. In the core elements of its story a docudrama strives to adhere to known historical facts, while allowing a greater or lesser degree of dramatic license in peripheral details, and where there are gaps in the historical record. Docudrama producers sometimes choose to film their reconstructed events in the actual locations in which the historical events occurred. Opening hours:
Monday to Friday from 10:00 - 16:00
Saturday from 10:00 - 14:00
Sunday and Public Holidays (by appointment)
The show is closed on 1st January, 2nd January, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
