An outstanding wedding venue, with unique architectural features. The present owners restored the villa with its gardens to its former glory.

Villa Overhills is a late nineteenth century Villa, built by Mr Frederick Belcher, a Manager of Shell-Oils resident Malta, it was eventually enlarged by the eminent Maltese ophthalmologist Mr Francis Damato. Villa Overhills is a spacious and impressive wedding reception venue, with beautifully kept gardens, surrounded by mature trees and suggestive pathways. Adjacent the large pool, there is a Gre

co-Roman style gazebo with columnades and with the inscription on it "Amor Vincit Omnia" or "Love Conquers All", our motto for all the weddings that take place in our venues. Villa Overhills is a unique venue. It has been scheduled as a Grade 2 property. In the Government Gazzette of Tuesday 15th November 1994, no. 16,032, and in accordance with Section 46 of the Development Planning Act 1992, "Villa Overhills" at Triq iz-Zejtun (now renamed Triq Ghar Dalam), Birzebbuga, is being designated as a Grade 2 in terms of Structure Plan Policy UC07".

Please note that our Venue Viewings will be 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 for Victory Day.

We will be back open on Thursday, 10th September, ready to welcome you to our venues.

Walk-in venue viewings will then continue as usual every Tuesday and Thursday from 5pm till 7pm 𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱🌿

The Seafood & W**e Festival returns to Villa Overhills on 5 September for an evening of freshly prepared seafood, carefully selected w**es, live entertainment, and a lively atmosphere perfect for enjoying with family and friends. Now it’s time to talk about one of the most important parts of the evening… THE FOOD! 😍

Seafood lovers can look forward to favourites including Traditional Seafood Paella, Impepata di Cozze & Vongole, fresh Oysters, Sushi, Traditional Lampuki Pie, Crispy Battered Lampuki Fillets, Arancini and our Mixed Grill. 🦪🐟🦐

And if seafood isn't your thing, you’re absolutely still invited! 🙌 We’ll also have a selection of non-fish options, including Meat & Onion Pie, Ricotta Pie, Chicken Nuggets & Chips and Flank Steak Kebab — making it easier for the whole family to find something they’ll enjoy.

And because there should always be room for something sweet… 😋 finish off with Elia's signature selection of desserts: Imqaret, Kannoli, Gelat tan-Nannu Elia or a refreshing Strawberry Granita.
