Cohesion Team officers were invited as chief guests to the Onam celebrations organised by Malta Malayalee association . Onam is a traditional festival celebrated mainly by the Malayali community from the Indian state of Kerala. The occasion offered officers a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the community’s rich cultural heritage and traditions, while also engaging with attendees and strengthening community ties.

We would like to sincerely thank the community for their kind invitation and for the thoughtful token of appreciation presented to the officers.

While carrying out crime prevention patrols, PCSO Islam spent some time playing basketball with a group of young people. Positive engagement through sport is an effective way of building relationships and can play an important role in supporting the personal development and wellbeing of youths.

Cohesion Team officers were invited as chief guests to the Onam celebrations organised by IOC MALTA . Onam is a traditional festival celebrated primarily by the Malayali community from the Indian state of Kerala. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for the officers to experience cultural games, learn more about the community’s rich traditions and food, and engage with attendees. As a gesture of goodwill, the officers presented a small token to those present.

These past two months we had the pleasure of welcoming officers from the Italian & French Police, who joined us on patrol.

This collaboration continues to strengthen the relationship between our police services while providing an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, experiences and best practices in community policing.

The Community Policing Team was delighted to take part in the 𝐼𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑡ℎ 𝐷𝑎𝑦 𝑓𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑎𝑙 at Kennedy Grove.

Throughout the event, our officers enjoyed meeting and engaging with the young people in attendance, creating meaningful conversations and positive connections. Events like these provide a valuable opportunity to build bridges with our youth, strengthen trust, and foster a closer relationship between the community and the Police.

Together, we continue to invest in a safer, stronger, and more connected community.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗙𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝘆! 🙏
Today, Fr Raymond Bonnici concludes 34 years of dedicated service with the .
To mark his final day of service, Fr Ray celebrated his last Mass as Police Chaplain in a fully packed Vilhena Hall at the Police GHQ, a fitting reflection of how deeply loved, respected and appreciated he is by members of the Force.
Throughout the years, Fr Ray has been a constant source of spiritual guidance, support and compassion to generations of police officers, civilian employees and their families.
His contribution goes far beyond his role as Chaplain and will be remembered with deep gratitude and affection.
