aired, Maltese citizens. The primary target of the Torball Society of the Blind is to promote the involvement of blind people in Malta and Gozo in all sectors of life. Within the committee, there are sighted members who in conjunction with the non-sighted members, dedicate their time to help blind people by organising various activities both indoor and outdoor. A typical example would be get-together dinners for non-sighted persons as an opportunity to interact and have a leisurely time. Indoor sports events such as the game of Torball, are organised to motivate partially-sighted and non-sighted persons to lead a healthier lifestyle.
