Three nights of live music, great food, entertainment, Bavarian-inspired fun and waterfront atmosphere — set on the evocative Valletta Waterfront promenade, nestled underneath the iconic bastions of Valletta and Floriana and overlooking the historic Three Cities.

From Wednesday 7 through to Friday 9 October 2026, the Valletta Waterfront comes alive for Oktoberfest, transforming the historic promenade into a vibrant alfresco celebration inspired by one of Europe’s best-loved festivals.

Enjoy an evening out with friends, discover a selection of local and international beers, craft brews, non-alcoholic and gluten-free options, flavoured ciders and plenty of food choices from the Waterfront’s restaurants.

🌟 What a Night at Valletta Waterfront! 🌟

Memorable energy on Tuesday 29th July, as the Valletta Waterfront hosted Festival Leġġendarju bringing together some of Malta’s most iconic artists in a celebration like no other — all in support of Dar Bjorn.

🎶 Backed by the Versatile Band and hosted by Ron Briffa, the open-air concert was a powerful mix of music, nostalgia and national pride.

It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Jonathan Mamo.

For a number of years, Jonathan was a valued member of the Valletta Waterfront community, where his presence, dedication and contribution to the Browns Waterfront family were deeply appreciated. He became an important part of a community built on friendships, shared experiences and lasting connections.

On behalf of the Valletta Waterfront team and community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Mamo family, Jonathan’s relatives, friends and all those who knew and worked alongside him.

May he rest in peace.

Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time. 🕊️

🎷 The Valletta Waterfront Jazz Series returns with three concerts 🎹

Step into an evening of timeless music as the Valletta Waterfront Jazz Series returns for its second edition, set within the atmospheric Sagrestia Vault.

Across three special Thursday evenings, the Dominic Galea Trio — Dominic Galea (piano), Mario Aquilina (bass) and Noel Grech (drums) — joined by acclaimed vocalist Nadine Axisa, will take you on a journey through the golden eras of jazz and popular music.

✨ Expect the magic of the Great American Songbook, Broadway and classic Hollywood, alongside legendary jazz composers:

🎺 Volume One — 10 September
Jimmy Van Heusen, Harold Arlen, Henry Mancini, Oscar Levant & the music of John Coltrane, celebrating the 100th anniversary of his birth.

🎹 Volume Two — 15 October, 7:30pm
Irving Berlin, Victor Young, Latin American jazz standards & the music of Dave Brubeck, including Take Five.

🥁 Volume Three — 5 November, 7:30pm
Johnny Mercer, Arthur Schwartz, Sammy Fain, Ray Noble & the music of Miles Davis, marking the 100th anniversary of his birth.

Set against the evocative backdrop of the Valletta Waterfront, each concert promises an intimate evening where jazz tradition meets a contemporary touch. 🎶

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Norman Hamilton.

A familiar and much-loved figure in Malta’s tourism and media landscape, Norman was also a valued member of the Valletta Waterfront community through Hamilton Travel, whose presence at the Waterfront reflected his enduring connection to travel and to Malta’s maritime gateway.

For decades, Norman brought his energy, vision and passion for travel to the industry, helping generations of Maltese discover the world while also playing an important role in bringing international visitors to our shores.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

May he rest in peace. 🕊️
