Nhar il-Gimgħa, ezatt sitt ijiem qabel il-laqgħa straordinarja tal-Gżira United FC ircevejt stedina biex nattendi din il-laqgħa u nagħti prezentazzjoni tal-facilitajiet sportivi li ser jigu mibnija f’Manoel Island.
Naħseb illi f’dan l-istadju u fiċ-ċirkostanzi ikun xieraq li il-prezentazzjoni issir lil Gżirjani kollha u mhux biss lil membri tal-club.
F’l-aħħar mill-aħħar jien bħala sindku kif ukoll Chairman tal-Fondazzjoni Manoel Island responsabbli mill-Guardianship Agreement, obbligat nirrispondi lir-residenti kollha u mhux biss lil membri tal-klabb.
Għaldaqstant ser inkun qiegħed insejjaħ uffiċjalment laqgħa tal-lokalita fil-gimgħat li gejjin, ser ninforma lir-residenti kollha bid-data u l-ħin ta’ din il-laqgħa. Għal din il-laqgħa ser ikun hemm prezenti il-membri tal-Fondazzjoni Manoel Island, Periti tal-Konsorzju MIDI kif ukoll rapprezentanti tal-Gvern sabiex jigi ipprezentat il-progett b’mod specjali il-facilitajiet sportivi inkluz l-istadium tal-football halli l-affarijiet ikunu ċari kristall ma kullħadd.

Last Friday, just six days before the extraordinary general meeting of Gzira United FC I received an invitation to attend this meeting to give a presentation of the sports facilities that will be built in Manoel Island.
At this stage and given the circumstances it is appropriate that the presentation is made to all the residents not only to the members of the club.
As Mayor and Chairman of the Manoel Island Foundation responsible of the Guardianship Agreement, I am obliged to answer to all the residents.
In this respect in the coming weeks an official locality meeting will be called whereby all the residents will be invited. The members of Manoel Island Foundation, Architects and representatives of the MIDI Consortium together with government representatives will be present and a presentation of the Sports facilities including the football stadium will be given in order to be crystal clear with all.
