PN leader Alex Borg appeared on a special election edition of Il-Każin x Times of Malta just days before Malta heads to the polls on 30th May, while Prime Minister Robert Abela declined the invitation to attend.
The debate, jointly hosted by Jon Mallia and Mark Laurence Zammit, saw Borg face questions in a presidential debate style format, with the hosts also airing the questions they would have asked Abela had he taken part.
Viewers were also invited to vote live on who they believe should be Malta’s next prime minister, helping shape the discussion in real time.
