AIMS - Authority for Integrity in Maltese Sport The Regulatory Authority for Maltese Sport. AiMS is responsible for the registration of all sport entities. Established in 2022.

AiMS is responsible for the registration of all sport entities, establishing integrity within Maltese sport through educational programmes, anti-Doping Control, Sport Ethics & Safeguarding of athletes. The Authority ensures establishing integrity within Maltese sport through educational programmes, anti-doping, anti match manipulation and safeguarding all athletes through sport ethics.

Safeguarding was also a key topic during today’s fourth and final session of the AiMS National Sports Forum.

The presentation was delivered by AiMS Safeguarding Officer, Dr Jonathan Camenzuli, highlighting the importance of safeguarding in sport and education.

The Authority for Integrity in Maltese Sports (AiMS) extends its warmest congratulations and sincere welcome to the newly appointed Minister for Education and Sports, Dr Byron Camilleri

AiMS also wishes to express its profound gratitude to the outgoing Minister, Dr Clifton Grima, for his commitment and contribution to the sports sector throughout the previous legislature. Dr Clifton Grima, who has now assumed the role of Minister for Justice, Research and Innovation played an important part in supporting and strengthening Maltese sport during his tenure.

The Authority conveys its best wishes to both Ministers as they embark on their respective new responsibilities and looks forward to continued collaboration in the advancement of good governance, integrity, and excellence within Maltese sport.
