Bringing Malta’s food and beverage industry to the world at SIAL 2026! 🌍

Taking place in Paris, SIAL 2026 brings together the global food and beverage industry, offering Maltese businesses an important opportunity to showcase their products, build international connections and explore new market opportunities.

TradeMalta is supporting Maltese exhibitors at the event through the Malta Pavilion, helping local businesses present their products to an international audience, while also assisting Maltese companies participating with their own exhibition stands.

TradeMalta was pleased to participate in the recent Cyprus–Malta Business Forum organised by the Malta Chamber of Commerce, with Klaus Pedersen, Senior Manager at TradeMalta, representing the organisation.

Our participation was an opportunity to connect directly with Malta-based businesses already exploring the Cypriot market, as well as companies looking at internationalisation opportunities.

With a strong representation from the services sector, the Forum provided valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges faced by service-based businesses as they expand into international markets.

Most importantly, it was an opportunity to have meaningful conversations with both Maltese and Cypriot companies — understanding where businesses are today, the challenges they are navigating and how TradeMalta can support them in maximising their internationalisation potential.

Staying close to businesses and understanding their needs is an important part of our role as we continue to empowering local businesses to expand internationally.

From Malta to the World – Celebrating International Business Excellence

TradeMalta has officially launched the 4th edition of the Malta International Business Awards (MIBA) 2027.

The launch press conference featured addresses by the Chairman and CEO of TradeMalta, as well as both shareholders, the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, and strategic partner HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c.

When Malta-based businesses expand internationally, they do more than achieve commercial success; they diversify markets, reduce exposure to external shocks, drive innovation and create higher-value jobs, strengthening the long-term resilience and competitiveness of Malta’s economy.
