Meet VIDA 🐾
Vida is a beautiful female Fox Terrier, around 1.5 years old, and her story began in the most heartbreaking way.
We received a report of a dog who had been dumped inside a sack… and that’s how we met Vida.
When she first arrived, Vida was absolutely terrified. She could barely walk a few feet outside her pen without trembling. Everything and everyone was scary, and it was clear that this little girl had been through more than any dog ever should.
But slowly, with lots of patience, human interaction and introductions to other dogs, Vida is beginning to come out of her shell. ❤️
There is still a long way to go. Vida needs time to trust new people, but little by little we are starting to uncover the beautiful personality hiding beneath the layers of fear and trauma.
We named her Vida, meaning life, because this is her second chance at starting a new one. Vida would ideally be homed with another friendly dog of a similar size - someone she can learn from, play with, have zoomies with, and who can help show her that humans can be something to love and trust again.
She needs someone with patience, calmness and love. Someone willing to give her the time she needs to settle, trust and realise that she is finally safe.
Vida has already been let down once. Please don't let her spend her second chance growing up in a shelter.
