The Animal Welfare Section within the Ministry for Gozo provides a round-the-clock ambulance service to assist injured or sick stray cats and dogs around Gozo. Whilst at our premises, these stray animals receive all the care and treatment required for them to recover. We currently have a scheme of neutering vouchers available for feeders to neuter stray cats.

This male dog was picked up from Triq Wied l-Infern, between Marsalforn and Żebbuġ, today. Dog is not microchipped. Owner has 7 days to reclaim and provide proof of ownership, and must chip the dog within 3 days and provide a vet report.

Meet sweet Elsa 🩵 One of the newest residents at our cattery, Elsa is looking for her forever home. She’s still getting used to sharing her space with lots of other cats, but she’s already made amazing progress. Elsa loves cuddles and being picked up, and she’s dreaming of a lap to curl up on for the rest of her life.

This cat was picked up yesterday evening from Triq San Duminku, Victoria. He spent 3 days trapped in someone’s garden before we were informed. Cat is friendly but not chipped, and we believe it’s an owned cat.

Crystal is a stunning 1–2 year old girl with beautiful Siamese colouring and an even more beautiful spirit 🤍

Sadly, Crystal was involved in an accident which left her with severe injuries, and her front leg had to be amputated. Despite everything she has been through, Crystal has shown incredible strength and resilience.

She has adapted wonderfully to life on three legs and doesn’t let it stop her from enjoying affection, comfort, and the company of people who care for her 🐾

Now, Crystal is looking for a loving indoor home where she will never have to suffer again. Special cats like Crystal have so much love to give, and she truly deserves a second chance 💕
