À 54 ans, il travaille depuis quatre ans comme jardinier à Bel Ombre Nature Reserve, un métier qu’il aime profondément. Passionné par les plantes, il apprécie aussi cultiver des légumes, dans la continuité d’une enfance vécue au plus près des bois.
