Dear People of Curepipe,
We find ourselves in a very awkward situation, and feel the necessity to share the information below with those concerned:
BS PARKING CO LTD is NOT associated with any other Paid Parking along Malartic Street, Curepipe (from JKalachand to Ave Swami Sivananda).
We have recently learned that our competitor is misleading/fooling customers when they want to come to us. The following statement is being used:
“Mem zafair sa. Mem company sa. Ici pu public laba pu bane company/commerce, etc.”
We are shocked to witness and suffering from such unfair/biased competition. And ironically, even more shocking, when we inquired whether our competitor is operating legally, with the Municipal Council. We won’t state our competitor’s operation status (legal or not) here to avoid cases of defamation, but you are free and have the right to query the guys there. Ask them where is Trade License Certificate? Note that affixing the ‘Trade License Certificate’ is mandatory for all businesses.
FYI; Paid Parking Activity requires a BLUP, Compliance Certificate, Trade License Certificate (Our Trade License Fee is approx. Rs 40,000/Year).
Now the choice is yours to decide what kind of business you want to support; Legally Operating, obtained all permits/certificates, paying all fees as per the law of MRU. Or those who do NOT respect our institutions, regulations and the law.
