This new feature empowers citizens to report water leakages directly to the Central Water Authority (CWA) in just a few simple steps, enabling faster response times and more efficient management of one of our most precious resources—water.

This initiative reflects the ministry’s commitment to harnessing digital innovation to improve public service delivery and place citizens at the heart of government services. By making it easier for everyone to report leakages, we are working together to reduce water loss, protect our resources, and build a smarter, more responsive Mauritius.

The Ministry of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation, in collaboration with the Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIoD), successfully hosted the AI and Talent Equation in Mauritius – High-Level Dialogue, bringing together leaders from the public and private sectors to explore how Artificial Intelligence is transforming the future of work and the skills landscape.

We were honoured to welcome Toivo Hensgens, Partner at the renowned Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Nairob, whose thought-provoking keynote offered global perspectives and practical insights on building an AI-ready workforce and strengthening Mauritius' competitiveness in the digital economy.

This dialogue forms part of the Ministry's broader commitment to implementing the National AI Strategy, fostering AI literacy, and ensuring that Mauritius develops the talent, leadership and capabilities needed to thrive in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
