Trees, Tags and Treats Ready! 😄

We'll be Celebrating World Environment Day 2023 tomorrow at La Courte Echelle du Nord! We'll be planting trees, donating books and doing our own upcycling event for the children of the School! 💚

MBN Green, in collaboration with ARX Revolution, is celebrating World Environment Day 2023 by joining the youth at our not-for-profit member, La Courte Echelle du Nord, with a fruit-tree planting ceremony on 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞. We will also have an upcycling project directed by Vinu of Vinucreativ.
In order to make this event special for the kids there, we are now calling for donations as follows:
1. 2nd hand children books to be gifted to our youth at La Courte Echelle du Nord
2. Clean 2 litres Plastic bottles for our upcycling project

We will collect your donations at our upcoming events namely on the 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐲 at Quartier des Serres and on the 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐲 at Gold Crest Business Hotel - Quatre Bornes, Mauritius. (Time: 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) Or drop your donation at MBN - Mauritius office at Pointes aux Cannoniers.

We've been quiet online this year, but not on the ground!

As part of the Sustainable branch and in collaboration with MBN - Mauritius, we organized two wonderful events this year:

- 7 July 2022 - For World Environment Day, we planted over 50 trees at Citadelle, Port Louis. In collaboration with .impact, we've arranged for maintenance of the trees for 3 years. The trees were tagged with the names of the sponsors, and we had a really fun time!
-17 September 2022 - World Clean Up Day - We back to our trees at Citadelle and planted a few more. We then cleaned up the place with the help of everyone!

We've also created a few initiatives within the leading Business Network in the Country MBN - Mauritius. We were present at the MBN Expo 2022; attended over 10 Green Power Team Huddles, in which we create awareness within the network.

We are proud to hear that 2023 MBN Calendars have been printed on 100% recycled paper!

World Environment Day is celebrated in June and like always, we are showing up with something BIG!!!

To celebrate the environment, we are co-organizing an endemic tree planting event Citadel Port Louis on 9 July 2022!

Because we know it's something everyone would want to contribute to, we are pleased to announce that we'll be extending participation outside our network!

How it works; you can sponsor a tree which will bear your a name tag of your choice (example: Krishan's tree). You can also have a family tree with your friends or family to share the cost of a tree (Example: the ARX's family tree). Your tree will be planted and maintained for 3 years with the help of our collaborators!

It's a tight deadline, we know but registration closes on Sunday! Follow the link if you want to have a tree or a family tree of your own!

Hey Guys! We are so happy to announce that we will be leading the first ever Green/Sustainability Power Team in the upcoming MBN Power Team Huddle Meeting this Thursday! Green/Sustainability is the latest addition to the 12 Power Teams in the network. Power Teams are led by industry specialists in 12 different fields such as Business, Media, ICT, Property and Others to discuss on industry related issues in their respective fields!
