Regarding Ramadan 2026, Henveiru Police Response and Patrol Shift A conducted a ‘Ramadan Hadiyya’ distribution event in areas of Malé City. As part of this initiative, officers distributed Ramadan hadhiya to members of the community in order to share the spirit of generosity and kindness during the holy month.

This activity was carried out with the aim of strengthening the relationship between the police and the community, while also promoting compassion, unity, and support among residents during this blessed time of Ramadan. Henveiru Police remains committed to engaging with the community and taking part in meaningful initiatives that reflect the true values of Ramadan.

ބަލި މީހުންނަށް އެހީތެރިވުމުގެ ނަމުގައި ހިންގާ ސްކޭމްތަކަށް ސަމާލުވޭ!
Scammers are using fake medical emergency stories and stolen photos to trick people into transferring money.

⚠️ The Scammer’s Tactics | ސަމާލުވާންވީ ކަންތައްތައް:
• Disabled Comments:
މިފަދަ ޕޯސްޓްތަކަށް ކޮމެންޓް ނުކުރެވޭ ގޮތް ހަދާފައި ހުންނަނީ އެއީ ސްކޭމެއްކަން އެހެން މީހުން ބުނެދީފާނެތީއެވެ.
Comments are often turned off to prevent people from exposing the fraud.
• Unreachable Numbers:
ޕޯސްޓްގައި ދީފައިވާ ނަންބަރަކީ ގިނަ ފަހަރަށް ގުޅޭ ނަންބަރެއް ނޫނެވެ.
The contact numbers provided are usually fake or disconnected.

🛑 Deep Verification Checklist | ފައިސާ ފޮނުވުމުގެ ކުރިން ކަށަވަރުކުރޭ:
1. Google Image Search:
ޕޯސްޓްގައިވާ ފޮޓޯއަކީ އެހެން ގައުމެއްގެ ނުވަތަ މާ ކުރީގެ ފޮޓޯއެއްތޯ ބެލުމަށް
Google Images ބޭނުންކޮށްގެން ސާޗް ކުރައްވާ.
Always use Reverse Image Search to check if the patient's photo is stolen from the internet.
2. Research the Page & Poster:
ޕޭޖުގެ Page Transparency ބަލައި، ޕޭޖުގެ ނަން ބަދަލުކޮށްފައިވާ ތާރީޚާއި އުފެއްދި ތާރީޚް ޗެކްކުރައްވާ.
Research the page history and the profile of the person who posted to see if they are authentic.
3. Call to Verify:
ފައިސާ ފޮނުވުމުގެ ކުރިން ދީފައިވާ ނަންބަރަށް ގުޅައި، އެއީ ހަގީގީ ނަންބަރެއްތޯ އަދި އެކައުންޓް ނަންބަރާ ގުޅުންހުރި މީހެއްތޯ ބަލާށެވެ.
Call the number to confirm the person exists and is actually connected to the bank account provided.
4. Research Medical Docs:
މެޑިކަލް ލިޔެކިޔުންތަކުގައި ޝައްކުއުފެދޭ ކަމެއް ހުރިތޯ ބަލައި ކަށަވަރުކުރާށެވެ
Never transfer money without verifying official hospital documents.

މި މައުލޫމާތު އެންމެންނަށް ހިއްސާކޮށް، ބަލިމީހުންގެ ނަމުގައި ހިންގާ މިފަދަ ޖަރީމާތަކުން ރައްކާތެރިވަމާ!

As the new academic year begins, Henveiru Police Neighborhood Support conducted discussions with the management of Majeedhiya School, Kalaafaanu School, Kangaroo Kids, Finland International School, and Ameer Ahmed Preschool.

The meetings focused on identifying key challenges and coordinating practical solutions related to school safety, student development, and community support. Discussions also highlighted the Inspiring Young Leaders program, which has been conducted over the past two years to positively engage students, build leadership skills, and promote responsible citizenship from a young age.

These engagements will continue with schools across the Malé area as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration, enhance school safety, support student development, and contribute to crime prevention within the school community.
