♥Episode nineteen♥

"Oh, No! The dress has torn" Hailey mumbled with trembling hands.

She had just helped Bella up.

"Are you okay my daughter" the queen asked with much concern in her eyes.

Liam sighed and walked towards Bella.

"I think the dress is too tight. Why did you have to choose something like this?" He asked.

"Wait, you oven over did your makeup" He added. All eyes fall on him.

"Son, are you sure you are not sick upstairs?" The king asked.

"What do you mean dad?" He asked.

"Anyways, come on, let's go and change" he took Bella's hand.

"And why are you still standing there, won't you help her change?" Liam said shooting Hailey deadly glares.

"I am sorry my prince" Hailey mumbles.

She followed behind Liam who was leading Bella who kept staring at his face upstairs.

Liam opened the door to his room and guarded Bella to his bed.

"Get me her dress" Liam said to Hailey.

Hailey rushed out of the room.

"Are you okay? Did you sprain your knees?" He asked checking her out.

"I am fine" Bella said.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something on my face?" Liam asked.

"No, its just that you are being strange today"

"Am being strange? How?"

Bella looked at Liam's lips, he lean forward but Liam looked away.

Bella's face dropped.

"Why? Are you still not comfortable to make out with me?" Bella's voice cracked.

"Its not that. Just that there is a lot on my mind lately" Liam faceplamed himself.

Hailey walked back into the room with the dress Bella worn when she was coming to the palace.

Bella stood up from the bed.

"Excuse me, I need to use the bathroom" Bella said.

She said walking towards the door.

"Where are you going? This room has a soundproof toilet too" Liam said.

"I prefer going downstairs" Bella's said.

She walked out of the room. Hailey dropped the dress on the bed and made to run to Bella but a hand grabbed her wrist.

"My… Prince" her voice come out like a blocken record.

She bowed her head.

' you have to find out if you have feelings for her' A voice echoed in his head.

He took a step closer to Hailey.

"Raise your head" he said.

"But…"

"Are you disobeying a royal command?"

His words sent a chill down Hailey's spine.

Her whole body had already begun shaking. She slowly raised her head and her eyes met with Liam's on. He was looking at her in a way she could not explain.

Her heart begun beating fast, so was Liam's own.

His raised his right hand and his finger caresses her forehead, then her nose down to her lips.

That very moment Hailey gasped and froze her eyes quickly shut.

Unconscious, Liam learned forward his lips drawing closer to Hailey's lips. Hailey felt a warm breath on her face, she opened her eyes only to see Liam's lips an inch apart from her own.

She snatched her hand from Liam's grip and pushed him. That very moment, the door bust open. Liam staggered and fell to the ground. Almost hitting her head to the bed.

"Liam!" Bella called rushing to him.

Hailey just stood there with her lip pouted.

"Its nothing. I just missed my step" Liam said getting back on his feet.

Liam looked at Hailey whose eyes were buried to the ground as if she were searching for a lost needle in a vast desert.

He swallowed hard.

"I will excuse myself" Liam said.

He gave Hailey one last glance before walking out of the room.

"That's odd. Hailey, help me change the dress" Bella said.

"Hailey!" Bella yelled.

Hailey raises her head.

"Sorry my princess"

She rushed to the bed and took the dress.

"Allow me" She said reaching for Bella's zip.

…

Liam slammed the door behind him. As soon as he entered the room, he went straight to the wall and give it a hard bunch, his bones cracked.

"Ouch" he winced in pain.

He looked at his hand then facepalmed himself.

"No. This has to be a joke." He muttered to himself.

"I can never love another girl. Its just petty lust. How can I look at another girl. My heart can only beat for one girl. And why is this heart misbehaving?" He said in frustration.

'You love her Liam. You can't ignore your feelings '

"No! I was just hallucinating. I just saw Rania in her. If she really Is Rania, she would never dare set a foot in this palace again. For all these years, why will she ven show up now?"

Liam sat on his bed and took a deep breath.

"Stop it Liam. You are over thinking"

He shut his eyes and lay on the bed.

A soft know interrupted him.

"Who is it?" He answered.

"Princess Bella is waiting for you" A maid said.

"Oops"

He had already forgotten that they had planned to eat out.

Liam stepped out of the the room and met Bella waiting for her, he looked at Hailey who stood beside Bella, and she quickly looked away when her eyes met with his.

"Let's go" he said.

Bella rushed to him and tangled her hand with his. Hailey followed behind.

From the stairs, Tim stood watching Liam walk out of the house. The edge of his lip curled.

"The look in Liam's eyes is giving me hope that very soon I might take over his position as the crown prince of Harmony kingdom." He said.

"Are you talking to me prince Timothy?" A maid said.

She heard him murmering to himself as she was passing by.

Timothy turned and faced the maid who stood before him with her head bowed.

He looked at her from head to toes, the he shake his head negatively.

"Go into my room and bring me my wallet" He said.

"Okay my prince" the maid replied.

The maid disappeared into the corridor. Tim dipped his hand in his pocket and brought out his wallet.

"I guess its time to have a snack" He said putting his wallet back into his pocket

♥Episode Eighteen♥

Back to the palace, Bella sat on the huge couch watching Hailey make her bed.

All of a sudden, she chuckled. Hailey stopped spreading the blanket and faced her with her eyes narrowed.

"My princess" she muttered lowly.

Looking at Hailey's curious face, Bella bust into uncontrolled lagged wiggling her legs into the air like a little baby.

She just could not forget how Hailey put Tim in his place earlier.

Hailey pouted her lip and scratched the back of her head nervously.

Bella sat up straight and closed her eyes, in a blink the laughed died down.

"I must confess, you are so funny and brave Hailey" she muttered.

She touched her belly and took a deep breath.

"I have never had a good laugh like this in a while" she paused.

Bella swallowed hard.

"Tell me Hailey, are you from Mars?" She continued.

Hailey shuggered her shoulder with her brows raised.

"Pardon me my princess, I don't understand what you are trying to say."

"I am sure Tim is already planning in how to kill you"

Hearing that, Hailey rolled her eyes and fold her arms to her chest.

Bella's jae dropped and her eyes darkened.

"Hey, watch your manners, just because I am conversing with you like a friend you don't have the right to do however you want" She raised her voice at Hailey.

Hailey quickly straitened her arms and made a slight bow.

"I am very sorry my princess."

"And by the way, that's how I am. Back in my village, nobody dade messes wifh me, bestfriend Reshna nor my parents " she said proudly.

She looked up at the celling staring at it dreamly. The mention of her parents and best friend just flashed some memories in her making her miss them.

"Reshna? I think I have heard that name before" Bella crossed her legs.

Hailey swallowed hard.

"My princess, you have to sleep earlier today. Tommorow you will be trying out your wedding dress" Hailey said.

"Oh" Bella stood from the couch.

"I guess you are right" she paused , the edge of her lips were raised showing her white set of teeth.

"I can't believe that in two months time, I will be officially married to Prince Liam" she said sleeping on the bed.

Hailey covered her with the blanket.

"Am… my princess.." Hailey called with her face buried to the ground.

Bella raised her head and faced her.

"What is it again?"

"Am… I was wondering when I will get my reward" She finally spoke up.

Bella shrinked into her bed with a slight chuckle.

"Gosh, I had almost forgot that all that people like you care about it nothing but money. " she paused.

"Any ways, remind me about that tomorrow. You may leave"

Hailey made a slight bow before walking out of the room slamming the door behind her.

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes.

"Mom, I miss you" She muttered lowly.

She opened her eyes and walked into the vast collidor to her room.

👀HARMONY KINGDOM👀

"Is that true?" A maid said looking at her colleagues with much curiosity in her eyes.

"Yes, it's very true. As we speak, they don't even know where that girl is , but her parents have long run away" another maid said.

"Isn't it too early for gossiping?" A masculine voice je**ed the maids out of their conversation.

They all turned sharply and faced the owner of the voice.

"My prince!" They chorused bowing their heads.

Liam chuckled.

"What is the hottest gist this early morning?"

The maids looked at each other before bowing again.

"We are sorry my prince" one said.

"Whatever, you are blocking my way."

The maids went to one side. Liam gave them one quick glance, shook his head and walked away.

Two maids touched their chest and sighed.

"That was so close, you will have to learn to watch tour mouth from now on girls. You all know talking about the royals worse nightmare is forbidden " one girl said.

"My heart almost come out of my mouth. Let me go to my dusty post before someone hears us" another girl said.

All the four maids walked away.

From where the girls stood, there was a door and behind the door, Reshna stood with her mouth wide agape.

"A royal concubine from parade fall in love with a royal guard, I mean a guard directly saving beside the king fall inlove to the extent of having a baby?" Her eyes went wide.

According to the tradition, any concubine who is defiled by someone who is not a royal, is sentenced to death along side the one who impregnated her.

"But how come they allowed them stay in the palace until the baby was even born? And the baby was prince Liam's first love? OMG!" she paused.

"Is this why prince Liam don't wanna have anything to do with princess Bella?"

"Wait, a scar on the thigh? I think I've seen someone with a scar on the thigh before"

She narrowed her eyes and pouted her lip.

"Gosh, whatever, I will gist Hailey later when I go back to the village. I just hope she is back now" Reshna sighed.

She took a deep breath before walking out of the room.

👀LIVING ROOM👀

The king and Queen sat beside each other their eyes to the stairs. Liam sat on a one seat couch with his arm supporting his head, he seem to be lost in thoughts.

Tim and the queens mother sat on the same couch staring at Liam.

"She is here" a guard announced and everyone's eyes went to the stairs.

From the stairs, Princess Bella cascade down. The white armless mermaid tail dress hanged her small flame exposing her body contours. The dress had some diamonds on it glittering all over.

She had some make up on and a crown on her head.

The king and queen stood on their feet gawking. Liam just sat on the couch staring blindly.

"OMG, Whose daughter is this?" the queen remarked.

Bella blushed slightly.

"Liam, isn't she looking like a goddess?" The queen added.

Behind Bella, was Hailey, her hair flowing freely down her shoulder and in her hand was a brides bouquet.

"She is so beautiful" he muttered lowly blinking lazly and his heart beating fast.

"Isn't she? I knew it" The king added grinning.

Tim looked at liam and smirked.

"That's will be the first time you are complimenting Bella" He said.

"Pardon? Compliment Bella? " Liam blinked rapidly.

Everyone looked at him. Bella missed the last step and fell to the ground.

"Bella"

"Princess!"

They all chorused, except Liam who just kept staring blankly wondering what Tim meant.

🔮Episode Seventeen🔮

Queen Naila sat on the couch with her eyes closed and her head resting on a cushion. She was enjoying some massage from her maids as some were busy painting her nails and one maid stood aside with tray in her hand. She had just dropped a glass of juice before her.

From the stairs, come a loud slamming noise. The queen's eyes immediately flung open and she raised her hand signaling the maids to give her a moment. She sag up straight and looked towards the stairs.

Her eyes went wide seeing that King Luke had broke the royal rules as he was running down the stairs like a mad dog.

The maids and some few guards who were present, just stood staring in awe.

Bella and Hailey had long left for some outings in the kingdom. And perhaps some shopping.

"My Queen!" King Luke exclaimed as he approached the queen.

The queen stood up from the couch and faced King Luke. She raised her eyebrow anticipating what had made her husband cause all this ruckus.

He intended her hand towards the queen offerening her a paper.

The queen looked more curious. He looked at the king who kept swallowing hard, then her eyes went back to the letter. She wasted no time but take it from him.

Her eyes scanned the paper for few seconds and at ever sentence she read, her heartbeat increased as her eyes become red.

"My Kong, what is this? How true is this?" She paused then swallowed hard.

"Don't tell me that everything I just read in this letter is true" she muttered.

King Luke closed his eyes for a moment then he looked at his Queen.

"Don't toh know him? We had made a lot of deals with him in the past as well. We can trust him. Who would even dare to make a joke like this with a royal family? " king Luke explained.

Queen Naila felt ad if her heart had just been hit by a defibrillator.

"This gotta be a joke. I thought this girl was long dead. After all the tortures she has passed through how could she still be alive?" Queen Naila's eyes sparkled fire.

"We have to inform the royal majesty about this. We have to take down that girl and her parents who betrayed us once and for all" He said in more like a whisper.

"No!" Queen Naila half yelled. Her hand was clenched into a fist.

She looked more like a vampire thirsty of blood.

Luke narrowed his eyes in suspicion. He was more like confused at the sudden outburst of his wife. If they Join force with the royal majesty, they would finish the traitors in a blink of an eye. What was his wife being hesitant.

"Why?" He finally found his voice.

"My king. Have you already forgotten of how we had struggled to get that girl out of the Prince's sight?" She paused and chuckled

She had just remembered how unpleasant things were in the past. How they had struggled to remove that nobody born shamelessly to two perverts who had disgraced the royals.

"13 years ago, prince Liam was barely ten years old , yet we had to use all our mighty to separate the two from breaking the royal custom. Now he is above 20, and given his personality, if he happens to learn that his first love is still alive, don't you think he might even sacrifice his life for her?" Naila explained.

The king nodded in agreement.

"I think you have a point. Its obvious that prince Liam's is bound to find out if this news reach his parents. We might have to deal with situation at hand all by out self" The king said.

"But.. What about Bella, should we inform her about this?" He added.

"No! That's a capital NO!. Things has just begun to patch up between Liam and her, that might ruin their relationship. Am satisfied with how things are between them"

"So, what should we do?" The king asked.

"We have to send some thugs after them. No one must know about this aside us and the thugs. "

A smile appeared on king Luke's face. It was a smile of satisfication. He pokes his wife's nose.

"You're the best my queen" She muttered.

"Oh, come on. Stop flattering me" The queen blushed.

"Would you mind making a brother for princess Bella?" The king whispered info the queens ears making her eyes widen.

She hit the King on the shoulder playfully.

"That's childish. But I guess we can try" The queen said putting her arms on his shoulder.

The king put his arms around the Queen's waist and closed the space in between them. He planted his lips on hers and she responded.

The maids immediately went out of sight. The king carried his Queen to their bedroom in a bridal style.

The Mazda Demio pulled out infront of a huge parking lot. A guard stepped out of the front door and opened the passengers door.

Princess Bella stepped out from the door the guard opened and Hailey stepped out from the other door.

Bella looked around then a frown appeared on her face.

"Hailey, are you sure you are not making a fool of me? Is it that necesarry to reduce the number of convoys that es**rt me?" Bella looked at Hailey who was now walking beside her as they made their way to the entrance of one of the best Malls in the kingdom.

Hailey had adviced her to be modest in everything. She had to cut out eight cars from her parade convoys and just have her car and one more car excorting her.

Hailey was in her maid uniform and Bella was dressed in a simple silk dress that covered her knees. Its wasn't entirely simple coz it had some diamonds glitter on the chest. Her hair was tied with a a gold ribbon and she had some sky blue heels on her feet.

"My princess. Do you know why people don't like you? You look so extravagant … more like.."

"Pardon me?" Bella suddenly come to a halt.

"Are you implying that I am pompous?" She asked her eyes wide.

Hailey immediately dropped her face.

"No my princess. That not what I meant" Hailey swallowed hard.

Bella folded her arms on her chest and rolled her eyes.

"Just because you are acting like my adviser, are you trying to grow wings and Insult me anyhow? Girl, you in case you have forgotten, I am following your advice coz I've notice that its helping I and Liam get close. But I won't tolerate any more insults from you" Bella fumed.

"I am sorry my princess" Hailey muttered in a low shaky voice.

Bella looked at her then she skulked, "that's better" She said before she continue walking to wards the entrance.

Hailey took a deep breath before running after the princess.

Few hours later, Hailey struggled down the mall stairs with several shopping bags in her hand.

Bella would steal a glance at her from moment to moment and every time a smirk appears on her face.

As she took the very last stair, she missed the step and could see herself falling. Hailey closed her eyes shut hopping not to feel much pain once she lands on the hard tiles.

In her amazement, she found herself swept from the ground. She slowly opened her eyes only to meet Tim's eyes on her.

"Nice catch right?" Tim winked at her.

Hailey look around and almost all eyes were on her.

"Please sir, put me down" She muttered.

Tim shuggered his shoulders before putting Hailey down.

"Thank you" she whispered.

"You all me one for this favour" Tim said.

A chuckle interrupted them.

"Don't tell me you are thinking of fu**ng her" Bella stepped forward.

Hailey's eyes went wide.

"That won't be bad, she would have broke a bone should she had landed on the hard ground, so exchanging my favour with some cookies won't be a bad deal" He said nonchalantly.

"What nonsense is that? Are you not aware that sexualizing on a crowned prince concubine warrants you a death penalty?" Bella exclaimed.

Tim rolled his eyes and laughed sarcastically.

"Why are there so many things I can't have? If I can't have what I like, then its only nature that I find means to enjoy what I like, no so?" He had a joker smile on Hus face.

"And what is that supposed to mean?" Bella raised an eye brow.

"Mmmh, since I can't get this pretty girl beside you , isn't it only nature that I have to become the crown prince… oops, if that happens, I might even become your husband"

"Timothy!" Bella yelled.

"Don't get all worked up my princess, losers like him are all blabber but nothing. And no one would want a womanizer like him for a future king. "

The two turned abruptly and when the realised who just uttered those words, their mouths went wide agape.

"What?!" Timothy said in spite.

"You've heard me right, I might not have royal blood running through my veins, but I cannot even open my legs to a pest who behaves like a filling station pipe. My princess, don't waste your time talking to empty vessels , let's go" Hailey added.

She didn't bother to wait for the princess to respond before walking out. Bella swallowed hard, she looked at Tim who looked so dumfounded. Either she could not even recall what had just happen, it seemed so unreal.

She corrected herself before running after Hailey.

Tim just stood on the spot as if he had just lost a soul.

🔮Episode Fifteen🔮

Silence filled the room. All eyes were fixed on Liam is if he were an alien amongst them. Liam rarely gets tipsy no matter how many glasses of wine he takes, but all of a sudden, he felt dizzy.

He scoffed then rolled his eyes.

"Come on. How can I fall in love with someone who is not royalty? " he broke the silence.

He shuggered his shoulder then waved into the air.

"Get that thought out of your mind Niel. Just that am wondering why she said she is not interested in me. Its just new" He added.

Harriet and Octavia looked at each other and the sighed.

"I thought you said royalty or not, we are all equal" Harriet said walking to am empty couch.

Liam just swallowed hard.

"Anyways, I think its getting late. I will be going now. Let's hang out with Bella next time"

He stood up from the couch and made his way out.

"Something about him is off." Olivia folded her arms under her breasts.

"Forget it. Didn't you hear that he will let Bella tag along next time?" Ian said with a smirk.

Harriet raised her hands in the air , stretching herself then she scoffed.

"How is that our concern?" She said raising an eyebrow.

"I wonder. Honestly, it would have been nice if Hailey was the princess and not that crazy witch. Gosh, I fell nauseated all of a sudden" Octavia muttered. She made it as if she were about to vomit making everyone laugh.

🔮DWELLERS KINGDOM🔮

The banging of the door could make one day dreaming think as though a earthquake was passing. The house was shaking violently as if it were being harmered.

"Hey, who is trying to break my door " Delly echoed as he lazly stood up from his worn out couch and walked towards the door.

Just when the door open, a lamp if saliva almost choked Delly as it refused to be swallowed down his throat.

Before him, was the creditor ()

"Good…"

Delly's words were cut short by Mr Nanda who pushed him from the door and walked inside the house followed by some men who looked like john sin. Their high was more than Delly and their bodybuild was far from him.

As if they were searching for some lost gold at a waste sight, in just few seconds, the whole house was a mess.

The men walked to Mr Nanda and whispered some words to him.

Wrinkles appeared on his forehead and his breath increased.

"Where is your daughter?" Mr Nanda asked. He didn't even bother to look at Delly who remained on his earlier spot, standing beside the door.

Hearing Mr Nanda ask about his daughter, made him feel as though he were death stated.

"Pa…pardon. What do mean by that? I thought you already took her" Delly's eyes were as wide as a lizard's own.

Mr nanda scoffed. He raised the edge of his lip and begins stroding towards Delly.

He approached him and parted his back.

"Are you joking with me right now?" His face hold a serious expression.

Delly looked at Mr Nanda for a moment. A sudden gasp escape his lips.

It was obvious that he really had no idea where Haily was.

"I am asking you for the last time. Where is your f**ken daughter?!" Mr Nanda's loud voice echoed into the house.

Outside the house, a crowd of people have gathered. Whispers filled the whole compound and few were taking peeps into the house.

From afar, Rona could hear murmurs. As she approached her house, the basket in her hand slipped and fell to the ground.

She has been out to the market to buy some relish.

'Did something happen to my husband' she wondered at ever step she took.

'Or did something happen to my daughter?'

All sorts of possible thoughts crowded her mind.

"That's his wife* Someone whispered and those who heard him, turned, their eyes fell on Rona.

Rona squeezed her way into the crowd and just then, she met the sight of he'd husband kneeling on the hard ground.

" I swear. I don't know where Hailey is?"

Rona looked up and her heart skipped seeing Mr nando standing before her husband.

She rushed and kneel beside Delly.

"Please , we really don't know where our daughter is" Rona pleaded with her hands clasped together.

Mr nando looked at Rona, then at Delly. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. In his eyes, he could see a man and his wife shivering with a girl around twelve years in the man's arm, she looked lifeless.

Mr nando opened his eyes and scoffed.

"You think I am a fool right? I've been going easy on you right? " He paused. He put his hand on his head and scratched his scrap.

"I have had enough of the two of you. Boys, we are taking the woman with us" He said.

"What?!" Delly and Rona shouted in unison.

Mr nando looked at the two with one eyebrow raised.

"What? I've been patient with you for years, but that ends today. Boys, drag her now!"

"No, no please!" Delly cried he hold Rona's hand.

Hot tears stream down Rona's eyes and she kept shaking her head negatively.

"Take me instead!" Delly pleaded as the men tried to separate him with his wife.

"Stop!" Mr Nonda said and the men let go of Rona.

"I think I have a better Idea" a weird smirk crept his chuby face.

"I will get a hefty award if I am to reveal the whereabouts of those who offended Parade and Dwellers kingdom. "

He looked at Rona and Delly who kept swallowing hard.

"You shameless rats, there is never a happy ever after for you. Get ready yp return to where you belong and face the consequences of your crime. I hope your daughter didn't go to meet him" he paused.

"Unfortunate for her, he is getting married soon to his perfect match. She stands no chance now" He smirked then walked out of the compound.

The men followed their boss. The crowd lingered for a moment forming groups of four of more discussing what they had just witnessed.

Little by little everyone who had gather to watch the free show found their way home.

The wind begun to blow violently and the once blue sky was covered by dark Clouds. A thunder strike and it was clear that it might rain any moment.

Despite the sudden change of weather, Rona and Delly remained kneeling on the once hot ground. For a moment they just kept blinking and breathing heavy as though they had seen a lion standing before them. Or so, something worser than a lion.

"My hu…" Rona broke the silence.

Delly's tighter grip cut her statement short.

"Rona, we have to leave this village now!" Delly didn't even bother to look at Rona.

Rona's heart jumped as though its has just received a revival shock from a defibrillator.

"But Hailey"

Delly looked into Rona's eyes.

"As long as Hailey is not here by the time those ruthless monsters who call themselves royal, come to hunt us down, everything will be fine. If we stay, we might turn into a trap to capture our daughter. You don't want Hailey to oadd through that same pain twice right?"

Rona nodded.

"I can't.. See … her covered in blood again" those words rolled like a bitter pill on Rona's tongue and aher eyes stung.

"Then we have to live now!"

Its been long since I stop writing. Am trying my best to emerse myself into the zeal of writing I had before becoming lazy.

I might not post for some days since laziness is still lingering around me, but your encouragement is what will make me get back my touch of writing soon.

Liam dressed into something casual then he stepped out of the room. Bella was nowhere to be seen so he concluded she might be waiting for him in the car.

With his hands in his pocket, he walked down the stairs.

"And by the way, there is nothing interesting on Prince Liam that can make me like him as a man. I don't even dream of sharing a bed with him. So, just f**ken seduce him and throw your shameless bodies at him. I don't care and I am not cheap like you"

Liam missed the last step and staggered. He hardly managed to gain back his balance a foot away from hitting the war.

'What the hell have I just heard' he wondered.

He traced the voice and from the glass door, he saw Hailey turning her back at four maids. Just when Hailey took a step , one of the maids rushed to her with his hand raised.

In a flash, Liam found himself embracing Hailey in his arms. A loud thud was heard and in a blink, the four maids where on their knees.

"My…prince"

At the mention of the tittle, Hailey's knees buckled, if it were not for Liam's tight grip, she would have crumbled to the ground. Her heart beat was loud enough for a deaf person to hear it.

"My Prince… please let me go" Hailey muttered in a trembling voice.

"Oh" liam said setting her free.

He did not realise that he had been holding her for more than a minute.

Hailey swallowed hard as she bowed her head with her hands clenching the hem if her dress.

Liam looked at Hailey who was shaking like a soaked little chick, then he swiftly turned facing the maids.

"Who initiated this?" His voice was as calm as sunset on a vast ocean.

"I am sorry my Prince. Please forgive us" one of the girls said. Her voice was full of fear.

Liam chuckled and looked at the maid who just hit his back.

"What is the first rule I set in this palace?" He asked.
The girls swallowed hard.

"Don't make me repeat myself" his arms were in his pockets again.

Despite his calm voice, one could easily sense that he was angry.

"No bullying" the girls choruses in unison.

"Oh, so your heads are still working and you still remember all my rules, yet you dared to bully a fellow maid in the palace? Are you defying me?" His voice was still calm.

The girl didn't say a world. Ever since they were hired in this palace, they have never seen prince liam this angry, so they just didn't know what to do.

"You, you are fired" he pointed at the one who had just tried to hit Hailey.

"No my prince!" Hailey fell on her knees to Liam's amazement.

"Please forgive them just this once. It was just a mistake" Her words come out in a rush.

Liam looked at Hailey in bewilderment. Anyone will be over the moon right now because he had just gave out a judgment in favour of the victim.

Just why is Hailey trying to defend her enemies? He wondered.

"What do you mean by that Hailey? They just defied a royal order. And by the way, they just hit me as they were trying to hurt you" liam tried yo reason with her.

Hailey shook her head.

"My Prince, I understand that they had just hit your sacred body. But I am nothing significant for them to warrant being punished because of me" she retorted.

Liam's mouth went wide agape.

"Like seriously? Hailey, you are Bella's concubine, your body is not just yours. Its mine, Bella's and the royal family's own."

Hailey blinked consecutive. Her eyes narrowed and she swallowed hard.

"Any ways, my decision is finale. You are fired and a deduction fifty percent of payment for three months for three of you." With that, he turned and walked away.

As expected, Bella was already waiting in the car. When Hailey and liam joined her, the car wheeled out of the compound followed by a black security van.

♥TWO DAYS LATER♥

The room was noisy. At a corner Sydney sat on Niel's lap with a glass of wine in her hand.

The other prince were either praying table tenis while other were playing chase. The princess' were never let out of the fan.

Contrary to all, prince Liam just sat on the couch with his glass of wine on the table.

"Thinking about Bella?' Prince vin teased making the others laugh out loud.

" I've heard that you are giving her extra care now. How? Did she perhay feed you a love portion?" Princess Harriet chirped in adding to the laughter that almost pulled the house down.

Liam just stayed calm. He took his wine glass and gulped down all the content in one go.

He dropped the glass back on the table then chuckled.

"Am I unattractive" he muttered in a low voice.

The royal heirs looked at each other curious. They all stopped what they were doing and surrounded liam.

" what do you mean by that?" Ian asked.

Liam took the bottle of four cousins and poured the content in his wine glass. He gulped the whole content in a go as well.

This was unlike liam. He has always been a cool guy. And had never abused his power in anyway. He has never felt inferior before, but now he looked like a lost puppy ready to be devoured by a giant Python.

"Hailey said am unattractive. She said she never even wish to share a bed with me? " he looked at Ian the he laughed.

"Which girl has never wished never to share a bed with me?"

"Why are you concerned about what a mere maid had said? Perhaps she just didn't Want to show it that she is lusting on you" Octavia said.

Liam shook his head negatively.

"Hailey isn't like that. She is different" he replied leaving his friends speechless.

"Is that why you took her into your nap room when she fainted in your arms? Why did you even bother to change her cloths?" Prince Sydney muttered.

"Not only that, you even went to the extent of firing a maid just because she tried to hurt her. Bella could gave long fired this maid bug you saved her… liam?" Niel paused.

"Do you love this girl?!" The question was more of a firework lightent the wrong moment.

Liam looked at his friend as though he had just heard the last trumpet indicating rge second coming of Jesus.
