So its been lots of learning and unlearning all thanks to Orbis DMC amazing empowerment workshops through their held twice every year since 2018! I will highlight the May and September 2023 workshops. Its been enormous takeaways , great lessons and insights on mental health management ( an emphasis on self care as my huge take away as a founder. ), & Branding and marketing.

Experienced lovely ladies gave it all ! Thank you for impacting Tinapads in ways we cant express and help us see gaps that needs to be worked on especially on branding and Marketing. That was so much fun and challenging ! Thank you for sacrificing your vacation ladies and thank you for having lots of candid conversations.

Tina pads high five "WHY" behind our business. We solely exist to Keep Girls in School by eradicating period poverty through provision of reusable pads access! It makes us happy , it makes us come alive. Every girl deserves to be in class during their me**es, not at home simply because they cant afford and access functional sustainable sanitary towels. Creating gender equality , contributing to educating a girl child, offering protection and comfort from our colourful , durable reusable pads.

Menstrual hygiene is a serious issue among cyclone Freddy victims .
Support them by donating reusable sanitary pads and we have taken out our mark up on the pads price as our contribution to every pack to be donated.

Our reduced price is mk5,000.00 for a pack of 5 large pads. If you want to add underwear, lets us know too.
Our pads have 3 years warranty.

We have devised ways on how the campers can dry their pads too as that was our concern at first so we will work with each one of you buying in bulk and brief you on drying for the beneficiaries. ( We checked out a few camps and heard what the incharges said)

28th May 2022 marks another auspicious day to celebrate menstruation globally , yet in Malawi some girls still miss classes when menstruating. A quick chat with parents in one of our sites reveals something that needs action

School knock out time is 14:00 hours , and now girls fear that the makeshift cloth given might have an odour and make them be a ridicule by boys
Others says they don't have wash/ change rooms they can use to change into a fresh makeshift cloth or pad ( they use makeshift cloths because access and affordability to menstrual products is a problem . The makeshift cloth is an intergenerational solution to managing me**es . It is a folded cotton material )
Tinapads is committed to ending period poverty by fundraising for enough pads to be donated to girls for free. They are some households who can't afford a pads budget while acknowledging that some can manage
