United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative Fenella Frost has expressed development partnersโ€™ commitment to helping Malawi enhance domestic resource mobilisation.

Frost said domestic resource mobilisation is necessary to promote quality and equitable service delivery to all Malawians, which hinges on economic growth and sustainable financing.

โ€œWe are ready to support the tax administration, compliance and efforts to widen the revenue base. UNDP remains a key partner in the works of digital transformation,โ€ Frost said.

She was speaking at the ongoing launch of the Malawi Revenue Authorityโ€™s (MRA) Corporate Strategic Plan for 2026โ€“2031, a five-year roadmap being implemented under the theme โ€œLeveraging Digital Transformation for Sustainable Revenue Growth and Efficient Service Delivery.โ€
