Censorship Board ndi Bungwe la boma loyang'anira onse ochita malonda a mafilimu, kuwunikira mafilimu komanso kuwunikira malo onse a zachisangalalo potsatira malamulo a Boma (Censorship and Entertainment Act). Choncho bungweli limaunikira momwe anthu ochita bizinesi yoonetsa mafilimu ayenera kugwilira ntchito zawo.

Onse ofuna kuchita bizinesi yoonetsa mafilimu ayenera kutsatira ndondomeko izi :

1. Kukonza nyumba zoonetsera mafilimu pogwiritsa ntchito zipangizo zoyenera zomangira osati makatoni, mapulasitiki, ngakhalenso udzu omwe ungathe kugwira moto.

2. Yikani zitseko zoyenera zotsekulira kunja komanso zazikulu bwino mulitali mwake (1.2 metres).

3. Yikani mawindo (Mazenera) okwanira. Nyumba zoonetsera mafilimu ziyenera kukhala ndi mawindo okwanira komanso okulirapo omwe angatsekulidwe pa nthawi yoonetsa mafilimu.

4. Yikani zipangizo zozimitsira moto monga ma fire extinguisher, ndowa za mchenga owuma ngakhalenso paipi ya madzi yozimitsira moto (Hydrant).

5. Onetsetsani kuti mawaya amagetsi amkati mwa holo yanu ayikidwa motsatira malamulo ndi mwadongosolo kupewa ngozi.

6. Onetsetsani kuti holo yanu ili ndi zimbuzi zokwanira komanso zokonzedwa bwino.

7. Onetsetsani kuti pansi (Floor) pa holo yanu ndipokonzedwa moyenera komanso mukhale ndi mipando yoyenera.

8. Pezani Chitupa choonetsera mafilimu (Licence) ku censorship Board. Chitupachi chiyenera kukhomeredwa chaka chilichonse (pakatha miyezi khumi ndi iwiri chikhomereni chitupacho). Kwa ma holo ang'ono ang'ono (small theatres) mtengo ndi MWK 2,000 pomwe ma holo akulu akulu (Big theatres) mtengo ndi MWK 20, 000 pakadalipano. Dziwani mtengowu umatha kusintha potengera kuunikidwanso kwa malamulo a Censorship and Entertainment Act.

9. Eni malo aonetsetse kuti oonetsa mafilimu ndi wa zaka 18 kapena kuposera.

10. Mukalandira chitupacho, muyenera kuonetsa mafilimu omwe ndi ovomerezeka ndi a censorship Board komanso chikhalidwe cha dziko lino.

11. Dziwani kuti kuonetsa mafilimu olaula ndi mulandu ndipo eni malo atha kumangidwa komanso malowo kutsekedwa.

Ngati simukwaniritsa malamulo awa, bizinesi yanu ndi yosavomerezeka ndipo idzatsekedwa komanso inuyo mudzayimbidwa mulandu malinga ndi malamulo a Censorship (Censorship and Entertainment Act).

Crowds from across the country are heading to Dzaleka Refugee Camp in Dowa for the annual Tumaini Festival which started Yesterday with a movie screening session.

This free festival under the theme "Rising with Resilience" offers a variety of activities from music, poetry, dance, theatre, and creative workshops, alongside food and craft stalls from the local community around Dzaleka.

The Department of Arts hosted a symposium titled 'Mainstreaming Gender Equality in Malawi's Cultural and Creative Sector.'

The panel, consisting of UMP Festival spokesperson Marie Thom, Morton Sibale, Arts Officer from the Department of Arts, and creative consultant Akuzike Moyo, discussed the existing gaps that hinder female creatives from becoming equal competitors in the industry.
