SMEDI is a parastatal organisation under the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism On 1st February 2013, the Malawi government merged operations of SEDOM, DEMAT and MEDI to form a new organization, SMEDI. It is a parastatal organization under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and was registered under the Trustees Incorporation Act (cap 5:3) of the laws of Malawi. The headquarters of SMEDI is i
