PESOMAP-Bohol 🫶
The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), led by Gov. Aris Aumentado, through the Bohol Employment and Placement Office–Public Employment Service Office (BEPO-PESO), participated in the 3rd Quarter Meeting of the Public Employment Service Office Managers Association of the Philippines (PESOMAP)-Bohol on July 10, 2026, at Arabelle Suites in Tagbilaran City.
The meeting was presided over by Maria Vilma Yorong, PGDH of BEPO-PESO and Provincial PESO Manager/CTEC, and gathered PESO managers from across the province to discuss labor market trends, government employment programs, skills development initiatives, and strategies to strengthen employment facilitation services.
The quarterly gathering also served as a venue for sharing best practices, addressing implementation challenges, and reinforcing collaboration among local government units and partner agencies to improve the delivery of public employment services throughout Bohol.
Yorong emphasized the importance of sustained coordination among PESO offices to expand access to employment opportunities, enhance workforce readiness, and deliver responsive employment services that address the evolving needs of Boholanos.
Anchored in the Capitol's Strategic Governance Roadmap, the activity supports the PGBh's efforts to strengthen employment facilitation and workforce development while advancing inclusive growth, sustainable livelihoods, and community empowerment in Bohol, a UNESCO Global Geopark.
