That's the week you're riding through: not a performance for visitors, just Jalisco keeping its own tradition while you happen to pass by.

No piensas detenerte en los pueblos que cruza la ruta, hasta que, ves las ofrendas ya puestas en las puertas, veladoras todavía encendidas desde la noche anterior, la foto de la abuela de alguien mirando hacia la calle. Esa es la semana que estás rodando: no es un espectáculo para visitantes, es Jalisco viviendo su propia tradición mientras tú, de casualidad, vas pasando.

Your riders taste the region before they finish the ride; fresh tortillas at a roadside stop, the smell of charcoal from a comal, agave stretching to the horizon on both sides of the road. If you already lead a group, a private tour doesn't ask you to plan any of it. It only asks you to show up and ride.

Tus ciclistas prueban la región antes de terminar la rodada; tortillas recién hechas en una parada de camino, el olor a carbón de un comal, agave que se extiende hasta el horizonte en ambos lados del camino. Si ya lideras un grupo, un tour privado no te pide planear nada de esto. Solo, te pide llegar y rodar.

We built the Day of the Dead Cycling Experience around this specific window because the territory and the tradition align only once a year.
