During his visit to Guatemala, H.E. Ambassador Shozab Abbas delivered a lecture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala on “Pakistan’s Foreign Policy and Regional Affairs".

The conference highlighted Pakistan’s regional outlook, foreign policy priorities, and the historical and strategic importance of the Indus River in shaping Pakistan’s civilization, identity, and development. The event also served as an opportunity to strengthen dialogue, mutual understanding, and friendly ties between Pakistan and Guatemala.

Mexico’s House of Deputies concluded the first session of the Pakistan–Mexico Friendship Group to strengthen parliamentary ties between both countries. Ambassador Shozab Abbas met Mexican leaders to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation and closer legislative engagement.

H.E. Shozab Abbas, Ambassador of Pakistan to Mexico, paid a visit to El Colegio de México, where he met with Dr. Ana Covarrubias, President of El Colegio de México, along with institutional authorities to strengthen bilateral academic cooperation. This dialogue facilitated the establishment of strategic agreements aimed at promoting the exchange of students, researchers, and academic materials, as well as consolidating ties with the University of the Punjab regarding Pakistan and South Asia.

Additionally, Ambassador Shozab Abbas and Dr. Ana Covarrubias agreed to establish and promote an Urdu Language Center at El Colegio de México.

The Ambassador also committed to providing books on the Urdu language, literature, and the history of Pakistan, reaffirming a mutual commitment to education, research, and intercultural understanding.
