Pisces Sportfishing and Luxury Yachts started off as a family owned and operated business out of the City of La Paz, Baja, Mexico in 1978 with one 28 ft boat. Since then we have grown to be one of the largest and most respected charter fleets in Mexico as well as being recognized worldwide by fisherman and conservationists alike. To keep pace with the times and the growth of a more sophisticated m

arket we have gradually added more vessels and can now offer everything from the basic Baja Panga (skiff with outboard motor) to mega yachts. Still the favorite of most Cabo visitors are our standard cruisers, seaworthy, clean boats between 28 and 31 feet, with very experienced crews which are great value for money. We also offer slightly larger, 32 to 48 feet, newer model, vessels with more comfort like salons and air-conditioning , known as our mid range cruisers. Large Sportfishers over 50 feet are also available usually being new high tech vessels with great speed and more range. Rounding out what we , are the Luxury Yachts, most being multi-purpose - fishing, cruising, snorkeling, diving -ideal for those wanting to be pampered with the very best or to spend a week aboard , cruising the Sea of Cortez. What sets us apart are the relationships we form with our clients, long-term; our focus is service, value for money and experienced crews. We have been in Cabo for almost three decades and have a proven track record that keeps our guests returning year after year. We have superb catch rates, but also promote the conservation of sportfish especially marlin. Pisces was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Conservation, given by I.G.F.A (International Game Fish Association) and our captains have been the recipients of the Billfish Foundation Award for Most Striped Marlin Released Worldwide in a single year, on many occasions.

“Yellowfin, Marlin, and Sailfish Highlight Cabo’s Final Week of July” 🎣🔥

The final week of July delivered another strong showing for Cabo San Lucas anglers, with warm blue water, favorable weather windows, and consistent action across many of the region’s most productive offshore grounds. Yellowfin Tuna remained the primary draw, with catches reported from the 95 Spot, Herradura, Iman, Golden Gate, El Palo, and San Jaime, while Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Dorado, and Wahoo added diversity to the catch reports. Despite a port closure on Monday, crews took full advantage of the remaining fishing days, producing impressive results aboard the Pisces fleet. As summer conditions continue to settle across the southern Baja Peninsula, anglers can expect warm water, abundant bait, and continued opportunities for quality offshore action in the weeks ahead. 🙌🏻

The Biggest Surface Swordfish of the season for us so far!

Not a bad Graduation present at all for these boys 😎 Anglers aboard Pisces 31’ Ruthless, with Captain Beto Lira, landed their first ever Swordfish on casted Green Jack bait.

After a two hour fight, they finally got the Swordfish in the boat, which was fought on a 30 Reel with 60lbs line and 150lbs leader.

The excitement was palpable as everyone on the dock tried to guess the weight of the fish… 202 lbs at the scale and a day these guys will never forget.

Yes, we kept this fish a secret for a couple of weeks here, but conditions are still ripe for another to be landed! Most of our boats fishing out of the 11:50 Spot have had some sportier weather this week, but the fish are HERE. Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin and Sailfish released daily at the moment. Big Mahi and a few Wahoo and Tuna sprinkled in too.

It’s DORADO week in Cabo!

The biggest bulls of the year have been landed in the past week or so ! This weekend Pisces 64’ La Chingona 2 landed this incredible 64.5 lbs Dorado PLUS they released 11 Striped Marlin and even landed a NICE TUNA of about 60 lbs 💥

And as you can see from these images it’s been back to back days of Dorado and Multiple Marlin releases per boat. Dorado ranging anywhere from 15-50 pounds each. Pisces 31’ Tracy Ann landing a 50+ pounder, as well as Pisces 35’ Bill Collector 4 getting close with a 40 pounder.

Billfish catches have also seen a nice mix: Blue Marlin showing up and quite a few Sailfish released this week too! We’ve also had some good size wahoo sprinkled in and the bite inshore has turned way up 🔥Cabo is roosterfish haven atm

One of our awesome lady anglers making it happen today! Kathy landed this 43.5 pound Bull Dorado and released 3 Striped Marlin aboard Pisces 28’ Adriana.

And a great day overall for the fleet, with 46 Striped Marlin Released total, 4 Dorado (between 25 and 43 lbs), 1 Sailfish & 1 Mako Released!

Top release boats today: Pisces 31’ Ruthless had 8 Striped Marlin, as did Pisces 42’ Yahoo! Pisces 37’ BBII released 12 Striped Marlin, all those targeting Marlin fishing out of the 11:50 Spot.

“The best fishing day of my life” 🎣 Anglers went from zero to fifteen Marlin real quick 💥

An epic day aboard Pisces 37’ Viking BBII with Captain Hector Winkler and crew making it happen! The guys rigged dead ballyhoo bait and worked with dredges and teasers to raise close to 20 fish, landing 15 total for their anglers who had never caught Marlin before. Now they’re spoiled for life! And they have noodle arms and big smiles to prove it 😅

Lots of fish around right now, clearly! Striped Marlin bite has actually been one of the best we’ve seen for the month of April in Cabo in years (based on our Pisces fish reports and stats). Plus, we usually see the Blue Marlin show up closer to end of May/June but we had quite a few nice Blues in April, as well as one or two Sailfish already. Not to mention the out of season 750 lbs Blue Marlin caught last week by another local boat.

Back to back days of BIG WAHOO!

Wednesday brought another Big ‘hoo, this one weighing in at 78 pounds, landed aboard Pisces 28’ Adriana.

Big Mahi continue as well, this same day our anglers celebrating their 31st wedding anniversary landed two dorado, this one at 35 pounds, and released Striped Marlin too.

For inshore action, anglers have been target ring Roosterfish, and have had good luck finding them! Today already a few released for Pisces Panga!

UNIT OF A WAHOO YESTERDAY 💥

Angler Zach aboard Pisces 31’ La Brisa landed his first and biggest Wahoo ever, weighing in at 80 lbs! Beginners luck or maybe it’s to do with Capt Rey Winkler’s 45 years of experience? Well, whatever you think, one thing is for sure, the La Brisa crew have been landing some of our biggest Wahoo this year! 😉

And… the NICE catches weren’t just this one yesterday, but the past few days have seen BIG Dorado landed, like this one on Pisces 35’ Knot Workin’ yesterday. Plus, our littlest angler of the week, 9 year old Ray landing this 40 POUNDER along with 3 Marlin Released.

Of course also a nice Tuna landed on Pisces 31’ Tiburon a 132 pounder a few days ago. And just 4 days ago, the talk of the town, a 700+ lbs BLUE MARLIN landed in Cabo by other local boat… the water is warm and the fish are here!
