80 degrees expected for the high temperature in the Valley along with 51% relative humidity and winds of 10 to 17 mph from the west-northwest this afternoon. Along the coastline and in the bay we can expect for temperatures reaching the mid to upper 70s with winds of 12 up to 20 mph at times possible later this afternoon.

Perfect conditions to head to escape the beach and enjoy this great weather with some great options for fresh and delicious seafood with some great options to choose from, including Mariscos Alvaros, Mariscos Campo Don Alvaro and Mariscos Marea Baja 4x4.

This warming trend is expected to continue through the weekend and into early next week before an approaching low pressure system from the northwest moves across our region, likely to bring cooler, more seasonal weather.

Behind this cold front, a strong pressure gradient will form with fresh to strong winds forecast for Wednesday, followed by building high atmospheric pressure over the Pacific that will support a mild warming trend by the end of the week.

Tropical Storm Priscilla is weakening offshore Baja California Sur, but outer bands of low pressure from the storm are circulating across the northern regions of the peninsula, with a continuing possibility for light rain across areas of Baja California through tomorrow.

Behind this storm system, high atmospheric pressure over the northern Pacific will build and expand, forecast to bring clearing skies and dry weather beginning this weekend.

Low pressure is going to move onshore north of the border late tomorrow that will usher in a big change in our weather patterns this week, pushing moderate to fresh with locally strong winds across Baja California that will bring much cooler temperatures and a deeper marine layer along our coastline.

The marine flow is forecast to push some increasing cloud intervals across our region tomorrow that could potentially cool our weather off a degree or two, however, the warming trend will continue on Tuesday as high pressure builds and expands to our northeast, expected to peak by Thursday before a gradual cooling trend takes us into next weekend with a chance for monsoonal moisture moving in from the south.
