Thank you to everyone who turned out for Saturday's Christmas Parade. We had a great crowd and wonderful weather. The winners of the parade were: Third place - Wayne Polin; Second place - Sumter Strong, Ms. Annie Sumter and First place went to Jennifer Saverance, Farm Table Sweets. Our Kids Category had two winners: Cameron Baptist Church and the Calhoun County Band. (Go Saints!) A special Thank You to our Grand Marshal, Mr. Drake Perrow and his lovely wife Linda from Cameron Cotton and Seed.
The Town served over 400 hot dogs with drinks and chips after the parade and would like to thank Mr. Terry Fowler and the Cameron Station for his donation of the hot dog chili. If you missed it, we hope you will make your plans to be with us next year. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR from Mayor Summers, Cameron Town Council, Cameron PD and all of the staff.
