This week, our CRC HSB team and collaborators wrapped up an incredible 3-day workshop: "Let's Write Research Papers with AI." From 8-10 Sep 2025, we took over the Raia Hotel in Alor Setar for an immersive journey into how Artificial Intelligence can supercharge our work.

Our expert speakers guided us through the entire research lifecycle:

Day 1: Demystifying complex quantitative data analysis and interpretation with the brilliant Dr. Wan Nurul Izza from UPSI.

Day 2: Exploring the broader landscape of AI in research and learning how to build powerful proposals with Dr. Hayrol Azril from UPM.

Day 3: Mastering the art of writing review-type papers with the insightful Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hafizul from UPSI.

Through dynamic, hands-on sessions, it became crystal clear how AI can significantly boost our efficiency and research productivity.

Interesting quote from one of our speakers, who perfectly captured the spirit of this new era:

"AI ialah jalan pantas, bukan jalan pintas."
(AI is a fast track, not a shortcut.)

We are thrilled to share the success of our 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 & 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟐-𝟏𝟒 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫! This workshop is a key component of our Clinical Research Camp Programme, designed to empower healthcare professionals with the foundational skills they need.

Our 22 dedicated participants learned the essential concepts of both qualitative and quantitative research methods. A huge thank you to our experts, Mr. Shahrul Aiman (quantitative) and Dr. Siti Maisarah (qualitative), for sharing their invaluable knowledge and guiding our participants on how to choose the right methodology for their research projects.

The highlight of the workshop was the one-on-one sessions where our CRC staff provided personalized guidance and feedback. This ensures our participants are on the right path from the very beginning of their research journey.

𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐊𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞! 🌍🔬

What an incredible milestone for Kedah! We are so proud to have been a part of the organizing team for the 1st Kedah International Health Conference, a spectacular event that brought together over 600 health professionals, researchers, and policymakers.

Our CRC HSBahiyah and CRC HSAH teams were honored to serve on the Scientific Committee, helping to shape a program that featured 20+ renowned local and international speakers and showcased 100+ scientific abstracts.

A huge kudos to the Kedah State Health Department and the Kedah Public Health Physician Association for making this a reality. The knowledge shared, the ideas sparked, and the collaborations formed will undoubtedly drive a healthier future for our community.

ICR Research Award 2024

We are incredibly proud to share some fantastic news from the ICR Research Award 2024 ceremony, held on July 28, 2025. Organized by the Institute for Clinical Research (ICR), NIH, this event recognizes the outstanding achievements of the CRC Hospital network and researchers.

For the second consecutive year, CRC Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah (HSB) has won the Highest Publication Influence Award, a recognition of the high-impact publications produced by our team throughout 2024.

Adding to this wonderful achievement, two of our dedicated officers were also honored; Dr. Chan Huan Keat & Ms. Noor Syahireen Mohammed. Both received the High Impact Researcher Award for their excellent efforts and brilliant contributions to impactful research.
