Our Team has completed the Deepavali shopping for the Orphanage Kids under CHEERS (Children At home Each & Everyone’s Resposibility) project. Thanks to all who helped us raise funds and provide new clothes for these amazing kids. 🪔🌟

KERETAPI SARONG 23 APPRECIATION EVENING

17th October 2023,

The Strategic Planning Unit member, Ms. Shanmugee, The Head of Education Department of UMHYF, Mr. Muthukumar and The Deputy Head of Sports and Cultural Department of UMHYF, Mr. Surendran has attended the appreciation evening of Keretapi Sarong 23; Zombi Kampung Sarong.

The theme for this year's appreciation evening was horror-comedy. Thanks to LOCCO Malaysia for having us as collaborating partner for this project.

UNITED NATIONS INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE 2023 - INTERFAITH DIALOGUE

23rd September 2023,
An interfaith dialogue was organised by (INSaF) and Pure Life Society in the theme of “Actions for Peace: Our Ambition for the Global Goals”. This event was held at Soka Gakkai Malaysia (Selangor) Culture Centre.

United Malaysian Hindu Voice was a panel speaker for this dialogue session representing Hinduism.

Our team participated in Vinayagar Chaturthi pooja at Shri Raja Ganapati Temple Setia Alam Eco Ardence Selangor,Malaysia.

The pooja was very well organised by the members of Atmavidya Vanakkam and the temple. We would like to thank Swami Satprakashananda Sarasvati, the President of Atmavidya Vanam Malaysia for inviting us for this beautiful occasion.

May Shri Raja Ganapati Bhagavaan bless all of us with good health happiness and prosperity.

More than 10,000 people, of various races and ages, participated in the Keretapi Sarong 2023 (KS 2023), which aims to instil the spirit of love for the country and its diversity, in conjunction with the Malaysia Day celebration.

United Malaysian Hindu Voice represented the Malaysian Indian community in this grand event and we are also the official partner of this project.

It was a great experience to be part of this wonderful event.

MALAYSIA DAY - CITY OF LIGHT SPORTS DAY 2023

16th September 2023.
UMHV with the collaboration of Persatuan Kebajikan Awam Malaysia (PKAM) has participated in the 7km & 5km marathon, in conjunction with Hari Malaysia.

Mr. Gokkul Haritharan, Deputy Head of Sports and Culture Department of United Malaysian Hindu Students League, together with the kids from PKAM represented UMHV for the marathon.
They manage to complete 7km & 5km marathon distance within the time limit.

Medals, certificate and tshirt was awarded to all of our members for the outstanding achievement.

Special thanks to Ms. Manurachna, Head of Welfare for United Malaysian Hindu Voice, for coordinating with PKAM.
UMHV always encourage public to support the welfare of HOME.

Press meet was organised to make a official announcement of “Keretapi Sarong 2023” event.

Mr.Amir Hamdan, CEO of Rapid Rail officiated the event.
Ms.Kugapriya Nagarajan, Head of wellness & Counselling department and Mr.Goutham Shanmugam, Deputy Head of Logistics & Assert Management department of United Malaysian Hindu Students League attended the press meet on behalf of UMHV.

United Malaysian Hindu Voice will be representing Malaysian Indian community in this grand event. We are also the official partner of this project.

UMHV SUBMITTED MEMORANDUM TO INDIAN HIGH COMMISSION AT KUALA LUMPUR CONDEMNING THE REMARKS MADE BY UDHAYANIDHI STALIN ON “SANATHANA DHARMA”

7th September 2023,
Members of United Malaysian Hindu Voice together with members of 28 other Hindu organisations gathered and submitted the memorandum at Indian High Commission in Malaysia.

This memorandum is to CONDEMN THE REMARKS MADE BY UDHAYANIDHI STALIN ON “SANATHANA DHARMA”. We urge the Indian government to take serious action against people like Udhayanidhi Stalin who spread hatred and destroy the religious harmony.

4th September 2023,
Strategic Planning Unit and management board members of the United Malaysian Hindu Voice paid a courtesy visit to Ms.V.Sukanthi M.A, Mphil, a well known business woman from Coimbatore,India. Ms.V.Sukanthi is highly experienced in the education industry that includes running a private school.

We shared a lot of information about our current activities. We also discussed the importance of international collaborations in our future events.

Once again we would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude to V.Sukanthi, for giving us a warm welcome.

UMHV vs SAI YOUTH ACADEMY

19th August 2023,
The Sports and Culture Department of United Malaysian Hindu Students league organized a friendly futsal match between UMHV and Sai Youth Academy.

Mr.Marvindra the member of UMHSL Sports and Culture department lead this project and he was assisted by Ms.Rishantini the Head of Sports and Culture Department of United Malaysian Hindu Youth Fellowship.

This event created a good bond between players. UMHV always encourage youngsters to indulge themselves in sports.

Mr.Devash, the Chairman of United Malaysian Hindu Youth Fellowship, during his closing speech promised UMHV will collaborate with other organizations to organise more sports events in future.

30th July 2023,
United Malaysian Hindu Voice organized a hiking activity at Chiling Waterfalls.

This activity was headed by Ms. Haripriya, Deputy Head of Public Relations Department.

We all work hard throughout the week and constantly have the stresses of work, studies and etc. Therefore, hiking is a perfect way to get away from it all and relax your mind and get some peaceful time maybe to yourself. We encourage more members to join us next time.
