The Bario Food Festival (Pesta Nukenen) is a traditional Kelabit food and cultural festival that celebrates Kelabit cuisine and cultural arts and games. It's the one festival where you can expect all sorts of rare treats, all in one place, over 3 days. Jungle food from grubs to wild meat, edible flowers to bario rice, and games once played everyday, to games reserved only for special ceremonies. W

e welcome everyone who wishes to join us, and experience the best time for an immersion of gastronomic and experiential treats from the Kelabits. On any other days when it is not about the festival, this page promotes about Bario and the Kelabit people.
