NTIS Programme at the International Invention, Innovation, Technology Competition & Exhibition (ITEX) 2026!

The NTIS Programme together with the MySTI Programme under the MRANTI Pavilion as the programme secretariat, showcased the 6 innovative companies from NTIS and MySTI, highlighting Malaysia’s strong pipeline of emerging technologies.

Over the two-day exhibition, participating companies received encouraging responses from visitors and industry stakeholders. On average, each exhibitor recorded more than 60 engagements and identified around 8 potential business leads—reflecting growing market interest in local innovations. Exhibitors also shared positive feedback on the event’s role in increasing visibility of their technologies and unlocking new opportunities for market access and commercialisation.

A meaningful platform connecting innovators with industry, and ideas with opportunity.

NTIS Benchmarking Mission in Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭

The National Technology & Innovation Sandbox (NTIS) recently concluded a strategic benchmarking mission to the Philippines, held in conjunction with the Digital and Green Innovation (DGI) Forum Asia-Pacific Event.

Throughout the mission, the NTIS delegation engaged with key stakeholders across the Philippines’ innovation and technology ecosystem to exchange insights on innovation-driven growth, startup ecosystem development, and regional collaboration opportunities. Discussions also explored approaches in advancing digital and green innovation, strengthening policy and regulatory support, and enabling cross-border market access for startups and innovators.

The mission reflects NTIS’ continued commitment to building stronger regional partnerships and creating pathways for Malaysian startups to scale across ASEAN through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and ecosystem connectivity.

Its a wrap for Tea Talk 6.0: Unlocking the Next Phase of NTIS!

NTIS Tea Talk 6.0 brought together innovators, industry players, and ecosystem partners to share updates on the end-to-end journey from technology validation to commercialisation and adoption. The session also featured NTIS alumni sharing their experiences, alongside MTDC explaining the funding evaluation and assessment process to guide future applicants.

The session highlighted our role as a key enabler of the innovation ecosystem in connecting innovators to funding, infrastructure, industry partners, and market access. With around 150 participants, including many first-time visitors, it reflects growing interest and the importance of strengthening awareness and access to Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem.

Together continue building and scaling impactful technologies in Malaysia.
